About Erin

We are a married couple that LOVES animals and enjoy having them in our home. We know how much it means to us to have our dog and cats taken care of while we're away and we enjoy being able to offer you the same experience. We are not professional dog-sitters, but have always had a heart for animals. We've fostered dogs and kittens for local shelters and we dog-sit for families in our church as needed. We have 3 very well-behaved pets: 1 dog (medium-size) and 2 indoor cats. They are used to interacting with new animals all of the time, and we hope that your dog will be comfortable with them. We do suggest a Meet-n-Greet in our home before the stay to make sure all parties get along well.

We live in single level ranch style home. For the arthritic pooches, there are a total of 4 steps to get into our front door and two steps out the back door. We both work full time Monday - Thursday and someone is at home all day on Friday, Saturday & Sunday. On days that we do work, we come home daily to allow for bathroom breaks, etc.

We have a large backyard with a security fence with access to shade and water. Our neighborhood is a very dog friendly community on a quiet street.

If you have any questions, just ask! We're very flexible, can take last minutes bookings and can make accommodations as needed.

*Your dog must be house-trained, however we understand that accidents happen.
*Your dog must not be aggressive towards other dogs and other cats.

During your dog's stay:

*Please notify us of any "quirks" your dog may have just so we can know what to expect.
*Please let us know your dog's sleeping arrangements. If they have their own crate, bed or pillow, please bring this along with you.
*Please leave us an emergency phone number for you or someone that is familiar with your dog if you're unavailable to be reached.
*Enjoy YOUR vacation knowing that your dog is being well-cared for and loved on daily.

We also can board your feline friends. Please inquire for a quote.

Erin, Cody and Huskers were great hosts! They made Maddox and I feel welcome from day one on our house visit (to make sure my dog would play nice with cats since he's never been around cats before). I got updated pictures and snuggle news while I was on vacation; a welcome text each time! They were more than accomodating to my schedule with pick-up and drop-off times/ hassle at all :-) I will definetly use them again when I leave town and am not able to bring my Maddox with me.
The Shepards are a wonderful couple and did a great job watching our dog. Erin was very responsive and she did such a amazing job keeping in touch with us throughout our trip. So we never had to worry because we always had a picture or email about how she was doing. Our dog seemed very comfortable there and it was nice to know she was in home and not a stuffy kennel.
Amazing, felt so comfortable leaving my dog, he was obviously right at home.
Nice person. Very understanding
