Being an animal lover my entire life, it is my pleasure to host your pup in my home. At the age of 2, I found the love and joy of having my first dog and have had animals in my life ever since. I also have over 2 years experience volunteering at Save the Animals Foundation, a no-kill animal shelter in Cincinnati.
Because of apartment living, my pack is limited to a chihuahua, a chihuahua mix, a cat, and a husband;) I understand the needs and attitudes of small dogs and feel it is best to only invite dogs under 15 lbs in order to have a fun and safe environment for my three pets. I can offer almost 24/7 care because I work outside of my home only 3 days a week. Although we do not have a yard, we live a block from a dog run and a 15 minute walk from Prospect Park. We take a few walks daily around our safe/dog friendly neighborhood or to the park. We only utilize the dog run if it is empty or has smaller dogs in it.
Taking a trip and having to leave your pet in someone else's care is very nerve-wracking and stressful....I can relate!! Because of Dog Vacay, I was able to relax and take trips with a peace of mind that my baby was taken care of. I also have an avid love for cats and offer services to check in on your feline fur-babies too. I was inspired to become a host and wanted to help share the peace of mind that Dog Vacay gave me!
