We're a married couple living in Bed-Stuy and we'd would love to hang out with some cool pups! We have a nice medium sized one bedroom that is kept clean of any unwanted edibles and perfect for a small to medium sizes pup to hang out and explore around. We have a dog friendly building with a bunch of dogs in the building and on the block. We're within walking distance of a nice little dog park to get the energy out and there are plenty of spots around the neighborhood for some short walks. We love dogs and can't wait to have one of our own but until then this our way of having them in our life :) We can't wait to meet your little one!

My grumpy old pug really took to Desiree the first time they met. She has always cared so well for him. I feel like she has always treated him like he was her own. He is always so excited to see her. I have never had to worry when leaving him with her.
Our pug Pablo seemed to feel at home as soon as he strutted through the door and was met with Desiree's warm and playful demeanor. She was flexible with our drop-off and pick-up times, and periodically touched base throughout his stay with pictures and text updates. We were able to enjoy our vacation much more knowing our dog was in good hands, having as much fun as we were! We already have her in mind for a few upcoming long weekends. In a nutshell, Desiree is a FANTASTIC host.
Desiree has watched my dog Layla on multiple occassions and I can't say enough great things about her. She is responsible and dependable and great with dogs. Layla is a rescue dog that has some anxiety and nerve problems, making her a little tougher to watch then your average dog. Desiree has shown endless patience and kindness with Layla and was able to gain her trust (which is not easily given!) and bond with her, despite Layla's many insecurities. I would recommend Desiree without hesitation as a pet sitter.
