Ever since I was a little girl I have worked with animals. My family has had all manner of dogs and cats over the years, among them my own two miniature Australian shepherds and two cats. I also volunteered in a veterinary office for one and a half years and continue working with large animals through my involvement with the Rocky Mountain Horse Rescue, herding goats at 5 Fridges Farm in Wheat Ridge, and fostering/volunteering with Colorado Aussie Rescue. My friend at the Neil Street Pack (featured here on DogVacay: https://dogvacay.com/neil-street-pack-dog-boarding-23309), Rebecca, allows me to look after her menagerie while she and her husband travel the country. I look after her six dogs, three cats, two bunnies, and other assorted critters.
My husband and I own our own home. We would love the opportunity to look after your pets and spoil them for you while you take your vacation or just while you need to be at work. Although we do not have a yard, dogs are taken outside to the complex grounds 3-5 times a day to do their business and have a walk. We have several parks in the vicinity which are great for daily walks. The layout of our home is open with vaulted ceilings. There is room for a dog of 70 lbs to romp around and play with toys, as well as having a second dog of 60 lbs over to play.
We look forward to meeting your pets, and we're sure they'll have a fun-filled stay with us!
