Doggies have an in-home play room where they can play with their toys or with each other, sit on the sofa and relax, have their meals or use the doggie door to go outside into the fenced backyard to do their business or scare off dastardly squirrels.
Doggies go for hikes on trails that are off-leash and can run and work off that energy so that they are tired doggies at the end of the day. Doggies can also socialize with other doggies at dog parks. Dogs must be dog friendly and have good recall in order to enjoy off leash privileges. For doggies who are not suited to either off-leash runs or dog parks, a leashed walk may be more appropriate. Please indicate if you prefer off leash activities or if you would like leashed walks.
I only take on one client at a time for the safety of all dogs involved. Since the resident pets are tested for dog tolerance and ability to share their space with a guest dog, you can rest assured that your dog will not feel over-whelmed. Your dog will receive 100 percent of my attention during his or her stay with me. By the same token, I do expect candor in your description of your dog and disclosure of any behavioral issues your dog might have. If I know what the challenges are, I can be prepared and avoid any mishaps, either to your dog or myself.
I can work with you, the pet parent, in addressing certain behaviors that you might want to change in your dog. I have expertise in rehabilitating dogs that have experienced abuse, neglect or emotional shut down.
Doggies are given lots of belly rubs, if desired. Doggies are supervised during play and are expected to be respectful of other doggies' needs.
Our mission is to bring out the puppy in your dog!
