I have been caring for dogs, many of my own for over 30 years. Since I started working from home again in my Accounting Practice about 2 years ago, I decided to start caring for dogs again since I will be home with them throughout the day and it has been such a pleasure.
My home is a perfect place for dogs because I have a half acre fenced yard in a quiet neighborhood, and with the park right across the street I don't have to go near any major roads when we go for walks.
I enjoy taking many breaks from my desk throughout the day to walk dogs, and play fetch out back. I am able to tell rather quickly if a dog will fit in with other dogs that may be in the pack during the same dates and the dogs love running out back with each other and I enjoy watching them play together. I enjoy giving belly rubs and hugs and really enjoy when a dog will share my chair with me while relaxing, ( at least the ones that will fit, I've had some really big dogs jump on my lap and think they fit, that doesn't work out to well.)
In my experience I have found that most dogs do well with other dogs, but I won't entertain dogs that have any aggression issues either with people or other dogs. I do have the option in my home to separate a dog if need be, but even then the separated dog will be with a human in my home, I don't like leaving any dog unattended.
