Rate incl up to 4 walks/pee breaks/day & unlimited <3 I am a thoroughbred dog-lover who has grown up with dogs and looked after numerous others, including overnight care. I am a fit and active, non-smoker, with a flexible schedule (i am an actor/producing artist, working frequently from home). Familiar with many parts of Brooklyn and confidant with all sizes of dog. Have not been able to keep a dog in my tenancies (just 2 in 11-years), so looking forward to building relationships with neighborhood dogs. i am caring, compassionate and responsible. i managed a small theatre in Greenwich Village, for two years, and have been teaching babies on the upper eastside for the past three years, which requires similar nurturing as that for animals. I also work in costuming and arts administration, to support myself in lieu of that big break! For my first decade i have lived in the same beautiful brownstone in the Park Slope neighbourhood of Brooklyn and now live in a spacious, even more accessible spot on the crossroads of BK Hts/downtown BK/Carroll Gdns. i have looked after a variety of pets/people/plants and homes over the years in both the US and the UK.

Jenny took painstakingly loving care of my Staffordshire Terrier (American) for twelve days on extremely short notice-and he was very well disposed when I returned,in fact he was positively exuberant.I would enthusiastically and highly recommend this service(and this animal lover) to anyone who is traveling abroad for any length of time and is reluctant to leave their dog for a couple of weeks in a generic boarding facility.This is the perfect solution.
Terrible experience. I have a senior dog and I was nervous being out of the country b/c he's 13 y/o - I had to repeatedly ask for updates and would get short responses hours later. I'm not entirely sure she even stayed at my apartment with him as agreed. She doesn't communicate proactively. I was stuck out of the country for an extra week and asked if Jenny would watch Moby an extra 3 days (paid, of course) - she said yes, and I offered to pay an extra day for the last minute request. On the last day, I got messages from Jenny asking for more money for the inconvenience of my dog, whom she'd already been watching. I was out of the country!! I had no idea what to do but pay the extra money or worry that my dog would end up somewhere or at the pound. I was so worried about him. If you're looking for a sitter who actually likes dogs and cares for them and makes you feel confident your furry buddy is happy and healthy, find another sitter - not this one.
Jenny looked after my dog Digby on multiple occasions over a 9 month period last year. He adored her and loved spending time with her. She always made sure he was properly fed and watered and had a good long walk. I would whole heartedly recommend her as an excellent person to be a dog caregiver. She has always had a dog since childhood and looking after dogs is second nature to her.
