Growing up with dogs, cats, and reptiles, has made animals a part of my soul. My first job was working for a Holistic pet food store in South Florida. As a result of this, I was in constant contact with many rescue groups and working closely with all different breeds of dogs. I personally do not breed discriminate, and I think that all dogs are capable of loving and being loved!
Unfortunately, when I moved away to college a couple of years ago, I was unable to have a dog of my own. I have been feeling more and more as though there is something missing in my life, and that something is puppy love! Since I am a full-time college student, I just don't have the time or financial security to go out and adopt and train a dog of my own just yet. When I heard about the opportunity to spend time with other peoples dogs, I could not think of a better situation! I have two other college roommates who love and have experience owning dogs as well, and since we have opposite schedules, no dogs will be left home alone while I am at school two days a week.
I live in an 1800 sq ft 2-story townhome where your furry friends will have lots of room to explore. My home is carpeted, but we have a regular pest control service come and treat our yard monthly (pet safe!) I do have one cat named Sasha, and she does not mind dogs so long as they are not cat-aggressive and do not harass her excessively. My yard is small, but large enough for a game of fetch, and I have a nice tall wooden fence that latches all the way around my property for extra security. I also have a screened front and back porch, so there will be no possible way for an accidental escapes. My neighborhood is very dog friendly, as most of the people who live around me have pets as well.
Please do not hesitate to ask me any questions! I look forward to getting to know and care for some of your pups :)
