I work long hours at my job, but my office, fortunately, is dog friendly! While other dogs will be around to say hello on their way to and from walks, each dog must be leashed to the owner/owner's desk at all times - so the environment is safe and not chaotic. When I'm at work, your fluffy child will be able to snooze right by my desk - and make lots of new human friends who will be more than happy to give belly rubs and play tug-of-war. We're a block away from Palisades Park in Santa Monica, so we'll be sure to get in some exercise right by the ocean a couple of times during the day.
In the past, I've shared custody of an unforgettable beagle/cocker spaniel mix who sings along with every fire engine that drives by - and clears two feet off the ground in excitement for walks! Earlier in 2016, I stayed with a lovable, but food-obsessed, labradoodle for 2 weeks while his owner was out of town. He's recently on a vet-ordered strict diet (including meds) so despite his jumpy nature and pleading brown eyes, I was able to follow doctor's orders to a T. Unfortunately, as a result, I've realized how much I miss furry companions at home!
Speaking of home, mine is a 490 sq ft, 1 bedroom apartment on a 2nd floor (no elevator.) At night and on the weekends your dog can look forward to cuddle time on the couch while I catch up on work and tv shows. And during any dog vacation commitment, when I have non-dog friendly plans, you can be assured your pup won't be ever be left home alone for longer than 3-4 hours.
