No need to worry what happens after you entrust your dog to someone you just meet on the internet. Your dog will be as safe as can be with us. My wife is retired and is home creating jewelry. As for me I studied for 1-1/2 years at the Animal Behavior College to become a certified dog trainer using positive reinforcement, which has enormous benefits by creating a best friend relationship with your dog and where yelling, fear or punishment is never used. Rewarded behavior gets repeated. Ignored behavior stops. I am totally committed to the mental and physical stimulation of the dogs placed in my care and not a student or teenager making an extra buck. We live in a door-maned building on 7th ave between 14+15 St. There are no children living with us if that is a concern. Special care is also provided for elderly dogs that just want warm company as well as the various breeds, temperaments and personalities of adult and puppies as well. I have been taught to read a dogs body language to determine when a dog is stressed, alert, fearful, and happy to mention a few and adjust the dog to be comfortable while in my care.

Why I love dog sitting Thanks for your interest first of all with life moving so fast now-a-days. I am in my late 50's and have been a dog owner most of my life. The joy of a puppy, the careful nurturing the pup into adulthood, making sure to provide boundaries and limitations without breaking the dogs trust. The walking rain or shine., morning noon and night and even get awaken at 3 in the morning when needed because the dog gave me that look Either i do it on the rug or outside but i Gotta go to the bathroom ...now. Finally when the dog could no longer go on after they have given their all serving their master and mistress and become old. Can't run can't jump like they used to and made their senior as comfortable as possible. instead of 3 half hour walks they now need 5 walks for only 15 minutes.

Learning Theory – Scientific principles how animals learn and behavioral training strategies. Socialization. Relationship exercises. The duties of the leader of the pack. Temperament and personality traits and drives. and so much more. What does all this mean? I means a dog in my care will be mentally and physically stimulated (lack of is the root of many behavior problems). Provided the dog is healthy draining this stored up energy is so important. I can provide excellent references of happy clients and their dogs as well. When I am not training dogs, I am walking and boarding dogs. I live in the Chelsea area in NYC in a door-manned building so your dog will be safe and secure as well.
