My home has a wooden fence surrounding a dog friendly garden. Your pet must be cat safe as GVO is a resident maine coon cat who thinks he is a dog. We walk at least 2x a day or visit a dog park or beaches. Your pup will sleep, eat and lounge in my home. Specific personal care, grooming or medications included in care.

My dog Joplin LOVES Susie, he goes nuts whenever we see her. I like Susie because she never hurries a pet, her patience and compassion make her a top-notch pet sitter. Susie helped me with my older dog, Tiko, in her last hospice year. Susie would provide day-care so I could go to work and not worry about my 'ole girl. Susie comes to care for my cats when I travel. She sits with them and reads to them, not just rushing in to feed, scoop and run off. That makes a difference to me as a concerned pet mom. Susie has also helped me with foster puppies {loads of energy and poo!} and with medicating my pets when they get sick. Susie can even be there with you when your pet 'crosses over' the rainbow bridge to help you support and love them as they leave this plane. If you have a need for help with your pets, I bet Susie can fill that need.
We have used Susie to board our dog, Cashmere, overnight at her house on several occasions. We feel that Cashmere is in excellent hands with Susie. Cashmere is petted and loved and taken on multiple walks during the day. Susie has even helped us find a a qualified sitter when she was booked. I highly recommend Susie for pet sitting.

Any dog who stays in my home must be cat friendly as we have a resident cat GVO. Visitors must know how to behave on leash and not be fence climbers. A health record and name of Veterinarian are required. Permission for dog park or beach visits may be given.
A typical day
Here's where we'll take our walks We have a wonderful neighborhood to walk a dog. Extended walks can include our 2 creeks. Beach or doggy park walks can be scheduled. Your dog's sleeping arrangement If you prefer on their bed, on my bed if it's ok. Of course in the house. Time I'll spend with your dog The dog will have a companion all the time they are here. The longest a familiar dog stays in the home alone if I run an errand is 2 hours.

About this sitter: My home has been a foster home for small to large dogs. I have done hospice dog care, and know how to medicate animals. Humane methods of discipline are used. Exercise, grooming, hugs, interaction during the day and evening. Meals are according to owner preference, but at specific times. Lots of outdoors time and visits to the dog park or beach are provided on longer visits. Your pet will be a part of my family and when you return will be happy, calm and well groomed..
