I am originally from the south (Alabama) and grew up on a farm surrounded by animals! I have always had some type of pet in my life even to this day. I enjoy most all animals. I do have a soft spot for larger dogs as I myself have a large dog for the past 7 1/2 years. I tend to be the person who watches all my friends pets or walks them when there out of town or even in town as it gives my dog new playmates!
I do live in Downtown LA and I live in a very large loft space. so I have cement floors which makes it easy to have pets around. I also have an indoor real grass pet potty for those "just in case moments" my building does have a nice rooftop grass area to take dog's to go pee. I love taking my dog on nightly walks all around downtown and at times we venture off to the park or the beach when we can. I do believe every dog when they are being walked must always stay on a leash. it bothers me when I see people not even paying attention and there dog is off leash and like 10 feet behind them.
My dog loves other dogs! he is like a gentle giant. he is really amazing with new puppies! I've noticed my friends when they get new dogs/puppies and they have a hard time with them I take them for a few days and let them walk and hang out with my dog and all of a sudden they are so much better! people on the street or in my elevator always comment on how well behaved my dog is.
I work in production and it's the slow season right now So I was looking for ways to keep busy doing something I enjoy and make a little extra money and since I do enjoy animals and being outside so much I figured I would try this!
Just a quick note. I do work Saturday nights in a bar. My dog does not stay in a crate even though I do have one. So as far as boarding goes I don't mind having other dogs over the weekend but I would feel better if they are ok with being in a crate for about 4 hours or that my dog and your dog get to know each other some before! When I'm not home my doggy just likes to sit and watch tv!
