I am a freelance filmmaker and musician who has lived in Seattle for 6 years. I grew up with pets in my family. My grandfather is a dog trainer and also had dogs in competitions. I learned a lot from his examples, though I tend to be a little more relaxed and lenient with animals than he was. Our family also owned a dog for many years. She was more casually involved in competitions (we tried for grandpa). While living in Seattle I have been the primary dog sitter for 2 different parties. Both dogs suffered from separation anxiety and required a lot of attention.
