My name is Stephanie and to say I am an animal lover is an under statement. I am currently the proud pack member of two dogs: Hershey, a nine year old Chocolate Lab, and Kogi, a two year old mystery mix. Hershey is an aloof older lady, who only concerns herself with food and snuggles, while Kogi is a young social butterfly who thrives on making friends and getting belly rubs. Either way, your pup is sure to be welcomed into our pack quickly.
I grew up with a total of three dogs and seven cats, as well as two dutch rabbits, albino mice, and numerous fish.
For the past two years I worked at a holistic pet store and grooming salon, where I specialized in providing holistic nutrition, and catering to specific dietary needs. I am even able to provide limited grooming services (baths and brush-outs can be provided as add-on services for short-haired dogs up to 40lbs, or any dog under 25lbs).
I live in a second floor apartment with 24 hour access to a private, spacious, fenced-in backyard, complete with a fruit and vegetable garden. My room mate has three cats of his own, who are incredibly friendly, and can always be easily separated from my dogs, with three doors as boundaries (bedroom, hallway, kitchen). I live across the street from Sunset Park, a huge natural doggy oasis with tons of grass, where I walk my pups 3-4 times per day. In the summer months we go running around in the park sprinklers to cool off, and in the winter months we love to leap around in the snow (well, Kogi does at least).
I am able to provide overnight services for doggies of all ages in my own home and I am willing to administer oral medication, as well as adhere to any special diets your animal may have. Dogs are free to sleep wherever they please, whether it be on the bed with us or in their own beds on the floor.
I am able to provide dog-walking services within a certain radius (I am a MTA commuter), as well as check in on your animals within your own home for feeding, play time, cuddles, and even brushing and litter box cleaning.
