About Lyndsay

6 Years Experience Caring For Dogs
Hello! My name is Lyndsay.
My husband and I moved to Asheville 4 years ago and we now live in Woodfin. We are in love with our almost 5 year old lab mix named Stella. We adopted her when she was just 4 months old and we could not be happier with her! She is one of the sweetest, most snuggly dogs around and the wimpiest 50 pound lab you'll ever meet! She is very social with other dogs and non-dominant. We pet sit for many friends and family in the area and Stella gets so excited to be with other dogs. We go on hikes in the blue ridge mountains and play in our big fenced in back yard. On a typical day at the Stryffeler's we would go on two walks through the neighborhood 20-30 minutes long and 3-4 backyard hangs 20-30 minutes as well. Also lots of attention and love from me and Stella!

I'm so glad I found Lyndsay! My boyfriend and I drove up to Asheville from Florida with our two Hound mixes and we were staying in a cabin in the mountains but wanted to venture out to the Biltmore, which is an all day process. We didn't want to leave our dogs alone at the cabin all day, but we weren't too keen on the idea of boarding them either. So I found Lyndsay on here and she was very nice and accommodating. She called me so we could talk about my concerns and what my dogs needed. We texted back and forth a little too. Once we got there, she let us walk around her big, fenced in back yard and meet her dog Stella. My dogs settled in quickly with Stella and had a lot of fun running around in the back yard. When we picked them up later that evening, they seemed happy and content. Lyndsay is very sweet and the dogs seem to just take to her. I highly recommend her the next time you need a sitter!

My two miniature poodles stayed with Lindsey over Christmas. First of all, I just appreciated someone who was happy to have them over the holiday! Lindsey was warm and welcoming. Her dog Stella was friendly and showed no concern at having my dogs invade her home. While I was traveling, Lindsey sent photos and little notes so I'd know they were doing fine. When I arrived to pick them up, she had helpfully gathered all their things and her husband helped me get everything into my car.

As a first-time user of dogvacay, I was a little nervous about leaving my baby. But Lyndsay and her husband were awesome, and I'd use them again for sure. They are clearly dog lovers and sent pictures throughout the stay so that I knew my dog was comfortable and happy.

Lyndsay is very nice. My dog Opie got along well with Lindsay's dog Stella. Her home is very dog-friendly. When I picked him up, he was tired but happy.
Our dog Otis was happy to have Lyndsay take him out for a walk, and to play with her dog while we were away. Very responsive.
You can tell Lyndsay has a great love for dogs. My pup responded really well to her. She sent pictures letting me know my guy was in good hands. I would highly recommend Lyndsay to watch your fur-baby.
We were very happy with Lyndsay. Very positive and the boys, (MacDuff and Brody), loved her.
She was very flexible with hers and our schedule.
We were from out of town and felt very fortunate to have found Lyndsay through DogVacay. Com. Gave us peace of mind so we could enjoy our day excursions.
Thank you so much!

We were very happy with our choice of Lyndsay for our dog's "vacay". She obviously is a real dog lover. She made sure she knew about our expectations and Lucy's everyday routine. She sent us several pics of Lucy settled in nicely, and becoming good buddies with her dog, Stella, which really put us at ease. Will definitely use Lyndsay again next time we need a dog sitter.

My family and I live in the Asheville area and were hesitant about the whole dog vacay concept of leaving your pet with a total stranger in their home. Upon looking at our area boarding choices, we decided to give it a chance and are very happy that we did! We are also happy that we chose Lyndsay! We found her to be friendly and outgoing; we like the fact that she only watches one dog at a time and that she has her own dog since we always try to find socialization opportunities for our 7 month old Golden. She sent some pics throughout the day and she did let us know that he hadn't eaten the whole day, while we did find that somewhat disconcerting, we decided he was probably just feeling overwhelmed; after all, he had never been left with anyone before and he had never gotten to play with such an energetic playmate before! We do feel that all in all, she took good care of our baby and not only do we recommend her, we will be looking to her for our own future dog sitting needs! Thank you Lyndsay!
