About Krystle

15 Years Experience Caring For Dogs
I am a certified vet tech with 14 years experience. I can offer anal gland expression, nail trims, generalized checkups, and baths. Exercise time will be mandatory, weather permitting.
I also offer physical therapy and canine massage. Over the last 10 years, I have seen many patients that would benefit from daily massage and physical therapy after an injury, surgery, or just the "golden years". I price these treatments on a case-by-case basis. Feel free to contact me for further information. Happy Tails!!!

**Any special medical conditions, or special daily needs will be an extra daily fee of $2 per day.
If, at any time, the boarder needs to be assessed by a vet, you will be contacted first and the boarder transported immediately. In a case of emergency, my first and main concern is the boarder.

If you drop off before noon or pick up after 10 am, there will be an additional daycare rate of $25 at the end of the visit.

Questions about boarding with Spa Dog:

My dog is dog aggressive or does not do well with other dogs, will you still be able to board him/her?

Due to having dogs that reside in the home as well as regular daycare dogs, we are unable to board any aggressive dogs for the safety of our other.

Your calender says you're available, so you will be able to board our dog?

Not necessarily. I may have custom quotes that have yet to reply or have other tentative boarders within our community. Please send a message and ask. We do our best to respond with a couple hours to a day.

Your calender says you're unavailable, does that mean you're fully booked?

Possibly. However, we may be on vacation or have the allotted number of boarders Dog Vacay allows. There are special circumstances where some boarders will have left and we will have a vacancy. Always send a message and ask. Feel free to call for last minute boarding.

Are we allowed to bring our dog's bedding or toys?

I highly recommend that you bring bedding, crate, food, treats and toys that can be shared. Due to the nature of boarding, bedding and toys tend to be shared and may not return completely intact. Use caution with special toys.

Our precious is on medication daily, are you equipped for that?

As a seasoned animal caretaker, veterinary tech, etc. I have been thoroughly trained in administration of medications, such as SQ/IV/IM and oral meds. Diabetic patients, seizure patients, and those that require very close monitoring do require an additional daily fee of $5 to have around the clock care.

Our dog(s) are not kid friendly, wilhe/she y be able to stay?

Since we do have a toddler in the home, we cannot board dogs that are not kid friendly.

Krystle is a sweeteart!!! Her husband is also amazing. I don't trust my dog with ANY other sitter.
She was great at communicating with me before and during my puppies stay which was great.
Krystal provides optimal care and an incredibly nurturing environment. If you ask me, she is truly the dog whisperer!
My German Shepherd/Akita mix is a recent rescue with aggressive tendencies; however, Krystal won his love and respect. I cannot thank her and her family for opening their home and heart and helping me give him a second chance. Also he had recently broke his front leg and I felt very comfortable knowing someone with her Vet Tech background was keeping watch over him while he healed. Would highly recommend Krystal and her two helpers.
Our puppy had a great day with Krystle! So thankful to have found her!
Krystal was awesome! I had reservations about leaving Moose with anyone...he's only 8 weeks old! Krystal was so sweet and gave me updates with pictures many times throughout the time she had our baby! I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a more loving way to board your fur baby!
Krystle and her family were so loving to Dixie, our 2 year old lab. They made her a part of their family and she didn't want to leave! We didn't worry about her at all and loved that she had doggie playmates. We will definitely recommend Krystle and use her services again!!
Krystle is the best! We are so happy we found such a great person to watch Bernie while we are away. In fact, we don't go out of town if Krystle isn't available.
I would highly recommend Krystle! Zeus had an awesome time! Definitely would use Krystle again
Our dog was diagnosed with a seizure disorder two weeks before he was suppose to stay with Krystle. He was a different puppy on medication and required close monitoring and lots of love. Krystle called immediately when I emailed her of the changes and gave us reassurance of his new diagnosis and peace of mind that he was in great hands while we were gone. I was so impressed that she called! We loved the pictures and text updates throughout his stay. She even sent him home with a Christmas present toy! We are very grateful to have found Krystle and she will always be our first call when we need a sitter!
We couldn't have been happier about our experience with Krystle. She was great. She treated our dogs like she really loved them and like valued family members. We have a problem getting our younger dog to eat but she worked with him & got him to eat. She even gave them both a bath & cleaned their ears a little while before we picked them up. I can't say enough good about her & how she treated our dogs. We will definitely be using her again next time we go on vacation. It is great to go on vacation & know that your dogs are getting a vacation, too.
I picked Krystle over all others because she is a Vet Tech. To me that means that she has the ability to calm and nurture an animal that is scared. My Kacy has a splint on her right front leg and an infection in her right eye and needed someone who would cater to her specific needs and Krystle fit the bill to a tee. I left Kacy feeling comfortable knowing she would be cared for. Krystle was very welcoming to me and Kacy into her home and showed me around. She made Kacy a part of her family, both human and animal. I told her if I ever needed a sitter again that I would'nt hesitate to call on her again. Thanks to DogVacay to provide a necessary service for my furry friend.
Krystle was wonderful. She took such good care of Bernie. I didn't worry about him at all because I knew he was in good hands. She gave him lots of love and attention. Her veterinary knowledge was a bonus.
She is an amazing person! Our Daisy just loved her, and I'm sure was sad to go. She played with Krystle's dog, as well as other dogs in the neighborhood. Our dog definitely got plenty of exercise and love on her Dog Vacay. We also stayed an extra night, and Krystle had no problem keeping her again. She's very attentive, and sweet. I'd recommend her to anyone, and will definitely call her back if we go on vacation again. :)
