Greetings! I'm a professional doggie daycare attendant at The Ruff Life in Old City for my "day job" so I have ample experience with all types of dogs. I also have my own two pups, and have spent my whole life around dogs. I am available for dog walks, dog sitting in your home, and drop in visits while your at work or out of town. I am based in South Philly but can travel all over by bike or car, depending on the distance. Any and all breeds/mixes are welcome. I personally have two breeds which are normally considered "scary" but are just the best dogs. I hold no prejudices based on size or mix. I am also familiar with dogs who have some fear or anxiety issues. Both of my dogs are fearful of new people. While this has been a challenge, I have learned so much about how to handle dogs who have fear/anxiety issues. I know some pups can become stressed when left somewhere new by their owners and I believe I have the knowledge to help them adjust and have the best time possible. Why I love dog sitting I was born into a house with dogs and have not lived without one (excluding a couple years at college). I was officially allowed to take on my own dog when I was about 8. She was a miniature schnauzer puppy that my sister's dog had just given birth to. So I had her from birth until she passed. We also had three other schnauzers, a couple labs, a corgi, and a couple mutts that my oldest brother would leave with us while he travelled. I got my buddy Samson in college when I couldn't take not having a dog anymore. Amelia came along a couple years later. About my yard We have a decent sized patio for everyone to hang out in, sunbathe, etc. Will not be used a bathroom. My experience administering medication I am perfectly comfortable administering oral medication. I give both of my dogs a pill a day orally. Samson eats his with food but Amelia is tricky. I am skilled at getting that pill down.
