I am a licensed petsitter and I would love to be considered for your petsitting needs. I currently live in Federal Way with my three dogs (pug, whippet mix, golden/border collie) and three cats. I have a flexible schedule for those times you are called away unexpectedly or have to stay late at work, and can always accept last-minute appointments.
I have spent my life rescuing animals, and my entire adult life has been spent fostering, rescuing, transporting and caring for animals.
I worked at a local veterinary hospital primarily as a receptionist, but I also would assist the doctors and technicians in holding animals, giving injections, sub-q's, ear flushes, setting up for cytologies, and also worked in the kennels. At Hounds Abound, a dog daycare in Seattle, I was responsible for 20 - 25 dogs at a time in the "large dog" section, though we had Bostons, Pugs and other like-minded "small" breeds down there as well. My supervisors were thoroughly impressed at my ability to manage a large group of dogs, and loved the fact that I was able to keep them quiet at 7:00am. Rain, snow or shine, I was there every morning before the daycare opened to start accepting the regular clients. At All The Best Pet Care on Mercer Island, I was well known and respected by all of the clients, who would ask for me by name on a daily basis, as they came to trust my knowledge and advice.
