My son is five (almost six) and begging for a dog or cat. I want him to be able to recognize the responsibility of a pet while fully overseeing the care and making sure that your pet gets the best possible experience, as well as you. We all adore animals and would love to see that kind of energy in our home for the first time. I grew up with 2 German Shephards and 8 cats of various breeds. I've always had a soft place for our friendly friends and miss having them around.
