7 Years Experience Caring For Dogs
I love dogs, I would have a little gang of them if I could. Maybe in the future- but for now we hope to meet lots of friends through Doggie Vacay! Whether it be for play dates or overnighters...we are up for both! I know how hard it is to leave your furry kid behind when you travel. That is the main reason I signed up to host doggies. I want someone I can trust and who is dependable with the personal touch offered with this service. I do take lots of pictures and give daily updates to you while you are away.

Bentley, my French Bulldog/Boston Terrier combo is very much a mix of the 2 breeds, he loves to spaz out and loves to be lazy. He does have an unsureness about some bigger dogs that he is overcoming, a little more every day thanks to the help of our great Dogvacay friends. But fur now we prefer the company of dogs who are smaller than him, 40lbs and under is ideal.

Located in North Williamsburg, we are a couple blocks from McGorlic and Cooper parks where we take walks everyday. We are also lucky to have an outdoor yard area for some fresh air hang time as well.

Our daily schedule is pretty simple. The dogs have as much backyard playtime in the morning after breakfast as they want so they get their potty time right before I have to leave for work. I am gone from 9-6pm most work days. New dogs are separated while I am gone, familiar dogs get to hang out with Bentley with free range of the house. I also have an extra large crate available for any pup who prefers to have their own space. I use a great dog walker occasionally and if your dog is used to being let out during the day that is an option for the additional fee of the dog walker. Upon returning home I take them right out to the backyard for an outside potty break. I feed them dinner and take off on a nice long(approx. 45 mins) walk around the parks in our neighborhood. We then come home to play with the bin of toys or a hang in the backyard, weather permitting and of course to cuddle! If this sounds like a good time and a great fit for your little buddy we'd love to meet you.

I am an advocate of all positive reinforcement dog training. A fan of Cesar Milan and his methods of energy and assertive calmness. I am always on the lookout to find new toys and doggie puzzles to keep Bentley entertained and challenged. If you have any recommendations please pass them on! I like to give healthy treats like carrots and apples in addition to an occasional bully stick.

I am very patient and understanding with these furry guys. Bentley definitely has his moments of knocking over the trash and carrying it all over the house. Finding my bag invaded because there were treats in there the previous day is not unusual either.. you know- he just wanted to make sure they were all accounted for.

I am very easy going and the furkids are welcome everywhere in the apartment, on the couch and bed, I love my cuddle time. But I definitely have rules and boundaries in place. I think that makes a happy dog too, which is my goal. Happy people and pups.

Lovely host. Super responsive and attentive ... and judging from the photos and funny videos she sent, it seemed like Ramses really enjoyed his time with Kim and Bentley!
Kim was the best host anyone could ask for their pup! She took incredible care of our darling Scarlett. We were a bit anxious in the beginning since we needed to leave Scarlett with Kim for three weeks while we got married and honeymooned and we had never left Scarlett for that long. Well Kim took care of all our worries as she updated us everyday, sometimes several times during the day with pictures and info regarding our pup and hers. Bentley is a great dog that gets along with everyone. We truly loved having Kim and Bentley take care of our girl and would gladly do it in a heartbeat.

Kim is truly the best -- always quick to respond; flexible; and sends the best photos. Our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel loves staying with her!
Kim was a fantastic host for our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. She provided us with regular updates on our little girl, and was always quick with a response. We would highly recommend her.
Kim was so great and communicative! She would send text usually 3x a day with how the pup was doing and what they did. Cutest pictures! Would def. use her again!
Kim and her sweet sidekick Bentley were such wonderful hosts! As a Dogvacay host myself, I am stringent and selective when it comes to picking the right host to care for Tira, and we're so glad that we've found Kim in the neighborhood! Kim took such great care of our pup and kept us posted on her stay with frequent pictures and updates. It was great knowing that our baby was well taken care of in a safe home showered with plenty of love and plenty of playtime. We highly recommend Kim to anyone, and will definitely book Tira's future vacays with Kim and Bentley!

We were looking for a wonderful dog sitter to take care of our frenchy while we were at our destination wedding. While we were super excited about getting married, we were wanted to make sure that our pup had a great vacation too.

Kim was better than we could have ever imagined. From the moment we met up for our dogs to meet you could tell she was a dog lover at heart. We left, feeling a bit guilty, which was quickly turned to joy when Kim sent us the first photo of Roux and her dog Bently playing. From that moment forward she sent daily photos and updates and allowed us to fully enjoy our wedding knowing that Roux was in good hands and having an awesome time.

I cannot praise Kim enough and will definitely be asking for her sitting help in the future.

I love taking my dog to Kim's (and my pup seems to love going there, too!). We set up a meet & greet, where our dogs got to play and I learned more about Kim and her style for pet-sitting. I've now reserved multiple stays and Kim is my go-to for any out of town trips. I highly recommend her.

Kim is great! I got loads of awesome pictures, and she was very patient with my pup, who can be a busy handful. She's an awesome host who keeps my pooch busy, and he comes home happy and tired. Thanks again!
Kim and Bentley are fantastic! Bentley (Kim's dog) is really friendly and was extremely patient with our shy puppy, and Kim sent us a ton of updates and adorable photos of our puppy. Plus, she has the perfect apartment for doggie sitting - a long hallway for fetch and a nice backyard!

Kim and her dog, Bentley, were amazing hosts for our 7 month old Yorkie, Holly. Kim was awesome, friendly, and made us feel real comfortable about leaving Holly for 5 nights. She sent us multiple photos and videos while we were away, which we loved receiving. Holly fell in love with Bentley, who is great around other dogs. He's not territorial at all and was fine with Holly and her energetic puppy behavior. We will definitely use Kim again! Can't recommend her enough.

Gozer had another great time with Kim, arriving back home a happy and tired pup. I was sent tons of cute pictures and updates while we were gone. Our pooch can be a bit of a handful (terriers... we all love em!), and Kim was very understanding about Gozer's love for toilet paper and destruction!

Kim was wonderful! From the dog meet and greet to the updates during my trip, she could not have been better. Marcy had a wonderful time playing with Kim's dog Bentley and another adorable pup she was watching, Walter. I loved all of the pictures she sent - some were very funny and all were cute. Kim shows how much she loves dogs through her attentiveness to both the dog and the owner. I hope Kim is available for all of my future trips!

Thanks again Kim!

Without question Kim is now our go-to if we need a place for Lucky to stay. Kim is a woman who loves dogs and truly understands them. I wish I could give more than 5 stars.

Where do I start? From the moment I met Kim and her lovable sidekick, Bentley, I knew that she was "the one". Kim was so SMART to recommend that we meet up at the park near her apartment so that the dogs could get to know each other on neutral territory.

Next, we went to Kim and Bentley's apartment. Dog heaven? I think so. Her apartment is totally dog-proofed and dog-friendly, including an enclosed little backyard and plenty of toys and cozy spots for naps. Bentley was clearly non-territorial with both his mom and his house and Kim was completely at ease while Lucky helped himself to toys and checked the place out. (I immediately booked Lucky's stay with Kim.)

The following week we dropped our little guy off and headed to the airport. Throughout the 5 days we were away Kim sent sweet updates and gorgeous pictures/videos several times a day (first via text, but when my cell service proved unreliable Kim seamlessly switched to email, without missing a beat). I can honestly say I've never, ever seen Lucky look so comfortable, happy and simply CONTENT without me. (In the past I've left him with 2 different neighbors and 2 best dog-friends and even then I could tell from the pics that he was nervous and kind of sad.)

We got back really late at night so Kim was kind enough to drop Lucky (and all of his stuff) back at our place. We came home to find him totally relaxed and happy to see us. Every other time I've gone away without him he's been a little shaky and freaked out when I came home... The difference was amazing and it just reassured me that he'd had a great time with Bentley and was SO well cared for by Kim.

Bottom line: Having Lucky stay with Kim made ALL the difference to our vacation. I was nervous and skeptical about DogVacay (and just leaving him behind in general), but once I realized Lucky was in such loving, responsible hands I was able to seriously relax and just enjoy myself, anxiety-free.

Please feel free to message me if you want any other details or have any questions at all.

Kim took such excellent, excellent care of my Boston Terrier Quincy over the holidays, I'm almost reluctant to share my praise of her with the rest of DogVacay! I'm a DogVacay host myself, so my standards were already very high, but Kim is THE TOP. I had photos and video of my pup at least 3 times a day, and they were all stunning! Even after this vacay, I still enjoy looking at them, and I'm sure Quincy already can't wait for her next stay :)

Kim's professionalism not only put me at ease during my time away, but has even given me ideas for my own DogVacay clients - if you're lucky enough to get a spot on Kim's calendar, GRAB IT! :)

Kim was amazing! This was my first time using DogVacay and I was a little nervous about leaving my quirky rescue dog with someone she didn't know, but after my initial meeting with Kim and seeing how well she gets along with dogs of all kinds of temperaments I knew it would be good fit. Kim has a great set up with tons of throws and comfy doggy beds that my pup loved and sent plenty of cute photo updates. I'd definitely recommend Kim as a dog host!

Kim K (and her pup Bentley) are wonderful hosts. They made my two dogs feel right at home. Kim was in regular communication with some of the cutest photos of my boys ever taken. I could tell they were having fun and enjoying their little vacay, which gave me peace of mind to enjoy mine as well. Kim was easy going and accommodating--- even when we had some food delivery snafus. Many thanks, Kim!

Kim was awesome. She sent me pictures of Chunk at bedtime and on his walks. When I picked him up she gave me a full report. Most importantly, I had to add an extra day a week before my trip and she was super great about accommodating. Great experience for my first DogVacay.com use!

Kim was a PHENOMENAL host for our 9 month old pug, Shea. We've never left her for more than a night with anyone, so my husband and I were both really nervous about it. Once we met Kim and Bentley, I knew we were worrying about nothing! Shea is extremely active and still in the biting stage, and Kim handled her like a champ. She was constantly sending us updates and pictures about our fur baby, which we really appreciated. We would book Kim again any time we have to leave town and can't take Shea (as long as Kim would have her again!)...she was seriously amazing and we cannot say enough great things about her. Thanks again, Kim!!!

Kim is amazing! Our dog Charleton stayed with her for 10 days and she took such great care of him. She sent adorable picture updates a few times a day, it was so nice getting them and seeing that Charleton was definitely a very happy pup. And her dog Bentley is such a sweetheart! This was a great experience and we feel very lucky to have found Kim.

Kim was really great doggie host - we got cute pictures of Gozer while we were gone and a very tired puppy when we picked him up. Thanks again for the peace of mind when we're gone!
Kim was a wonderful pet sitter! Hudson was well cared for and got along great with Kim's sweet dog Bentley. We are using her again in 2 weeks. We also loved the adorable pictures she texted us throughout his stay!
Kim is a phenomenal sitter! She was absolutely awesome watching my pup, Olive. She sent adorable updates multiple times a day and in every single photo Olive was smiling and having a blast hanging out around Williamsburg. Kim also has the best and most welcoming personality. Her pup Bentley is also a sweetheart and was very patient, playful, and loving with my little crazy dog. I can't say enough positive things, the whole process was incredible! Olive and I are very thankful to have found Kim :)
