About Linda

40 Years Experience Caring For Dogs
Your smaller dog will love staying on my completely fenced, suburban farm where he or she will have plenty of secure space to romp outside, explore the secure yard, greet the chickens and goats, and lounge on the sunny deck or relax on a comfy sofa in my air-conditioned home. I am home all day, so your dog will have undivided attention. Senior and special-needs dogs are especially welcome. When your dog stays with me and if your dog is able, we will take several walks on the forested trails in my neighborhood. Lots of cuddle time is always included! If you prefer in-home visits or dog-walking services, I offer these services as well for small and large dogs in the Redmond/Sammamish area. I am happy to look after other pets in the home as well. I've had a dog-companion and have done pet care for others most of my life. I worked as a professional dog-walker in England and loved spending time with some great dogs. I volunteered at a wildlife center in Utah and was assigned to exercise the foxes. If you can "walk" a fox, you can walk anything! I've cared for senior and high-needs dogs and will provide patient and gentle care for your pet. I currently live with a sweet, bi-polar rescue Pomeranian, two spoiled cats, a flock of mostly retired hens and dote on all of them! Unfortunately, I can only accept small dogs in my home who are
- housetrained
- no marking behaviors
- good with cats
- on a flea prevention treatment program
and are willing to let my Pom be the alpha. Your dog will have constant care because I am home as a part-time music teacher. You can expect excellent, attentive care.
When I come to your home, your pup and I will walk in your neighborhood or if you wish travel to Evan's Creek Preserve or the many trails around Redmond and Sammamish. I can also do pooper scooper duties, take care of kitties and litter boxes, water plants, and make sure all is well with your animals and your home while you're away. Bottom line: you will not find better care for your pets!

A note about stays that extend beyond 26 hours and late or early pick up: Stays that extend beyond 26 hours will be assessed a fee of $3 an hour. If you need to drop off before 7:00 AM, you will need to book for the previous night. If you need to pick up after 9:00 PM, you will need to book an additional day.

Linda was excellent! She always responded right away, and was lovely during our meet and greet. I felt completely comfortable leaving my little guy in her care. She sent pictures and a little update every day, so I knew he was well-cared for and happy. He must have had a great time, too... he slept all evening after we picked him up!

Linda took really good care of my dog who is 15 years old. You can tell she has a passion for animals. She sent me updates and pictures of how my dog was doing. The walks they took, cuddling on the couch and, pictures of her in her big yard. One night my dog was whining and she slept in the guest room with her to comfort her. It was nice being on vacation and not having to worry about her. My only worry was that she wouldn't want to leave:)

Just as wonderful as the preceding few days were, and the update text messages were fun to recieved!
Louie had a wonderful visit at Linda's! When I picked him up he was happy and tired from playing and exploring. She has a beautiful backyard and home and nearby parks etc where Louie got in a good walks. He got along well with the other small dogs who were there for daycare and Linda's dog. We'd definitely return for future dog vacays.

Linda is great with my super shy dog! I have no worries when I drop her off and I know she will be well taken care of. Plus, Linda is great with scheduling times and working with my sometimes crazy schedule.
Linda loves animals - sums it up. My dog was happy, which makes me happy and much more relaxed while out of town. Thank you!
We were so fortunate to connect with Linda for taking care of our 12 year old dog. When we kenneled her she becomes lethargic and refuses to eat and having someone come in and take care of her was not always satisfactory so we have only traveled where we can take her with us. Linda's home is so welcoming and Ellie was comfortable from the time she went to the house for a "meet and greet". We were gone for a week from all the photos and messages from Linda we know Ellie had exceptional care. We can't recommend Linda highly enough and will definitely ask Linda to watch Ellie the next time we travel.

Linda was a wonderful hostess for our pup. She took great care of her, gave her walks and lots of love. Teagan enjoyed the beautiful fenced yard. Linda did a great job of keeping in touch with notes and photos, so we knew our pup was doing well. I would highly recommend her to those seeking dog care.

Lucy had a great time at Linda's, and I can tell she got lots of care and attention. We received pictures of her and frequent updates, and she looked so happy and not stressed when I picked her up! I would leave her with Linda again in a heartbeat!
Tehya was very happy with her stay at Linda's! I got regular updates and Linda handled my shy pup with ease. I think I have finally found myself an awesome dog sitter!!
Linda welcomed my pup into her home and family.
She was very conscientious about his medicines, food, sleep arrangements and overall comfort. He enjoyed her big back yard and other animals - especially a cat. She sent many much-appreciated photos. I look forward to taking him to visit her again.

Linda was great yet again with my little Jenny. She has such a fun time on Linda's farm with her dog. I can't wait to book with Linda again.
Linda was fabulous! Jenny came home every day exhausted and happy. On the last day, she actually jumped out of my car to stay at Linda's - I tried not to take it personally :) will definitely book with Linda again!
We are so happy that we decided to have Linda take care of our little Roamy while we were on our vacation. She took excellent care of him. We especially liked the fact that she only takes litter dogs and only 1 or 2 at a time. He received excellent care and was made to feel like one of the family.

We are so happy we finally found the perfect dog sitter!! Linda treats our dogs as her own. They sleep like babies after they spend the day her house. I can not say enough!! Thank you Linda for being so wonderful to our babies!!
Linda and her family were amazing! They took such great care of Hans, who in his old age, is sometimes nervous around new people. They really treated him as if he were their own, and kept us up to date on him with pictures and emails. I not only would recommend her a million more times, I have already booked his next vacay!

Linda was an AWESOME host to our little one. My wife and I have a 4-year old Shih-Tzu and he just spent 4 nights with Linda and her family while we went out of town. We were truly impressed by the level of commitment, responsibility and dedication Linda has shown and I am sure Chico had a great time during these days!! I look forward to leave Chico with Linda again in the future when our next trip comes up.
