About Zenia

20 Years Experience Caring For Dogs
How special is your pet? If there were someone in your absence, who could provide a loving touch, a pat on the head, and soft familiar baby talk tones?
Someone who truly cares about them... Would you deny, even for a minute, the pleasure and reassurance your pet would derive from that experience?

Hi I am a professional, mature, responsible and very loving pet sitter and dog nanny. I grew up visiting my family in their country side houses where I always surrounded myself with their animals. I have picture of my infancy holding little kittens and snuggling with my family puppies, or even one where I was bathing the chickens!!!
I been boarding and pet sitting other peoples pets for over 6 years; mostly private clients as neighbors and friends but I think the most important information here is that I am a doggy mom too, so I understand the importance of having someone taking care of your baby that truly loves and understand dogs. My old guy just recently passed away after 18 years of been under my care; so my little guy needs some friends to keep him company and lift up his spirit because he really misses his older brother.

I recently register at DogVacay and Care.com to expand my business. I currently work part time at a large residence in Beverly Hills where I take care of 3 large dogs, 2 cats (one diabetic Insulin dependent), 14 exotic birds (two blind and very old) and 22 koi fish. I can't promise to be with your furry child 24/7 (Honestly no one is so ever be there 24/7 because they also need go out to the market, work, gym, etc)... But I can assure you that if for sake heavens something happens and I can't came back on time for a potty brake my roommate would jump in and help us out. He is a mature, very animal loving guy. Even when he would not be responsible for your pet I thought it would be good to mention him here too.

I have some Animal Behavior studies at ABC Los Angeles, and Pet CPR and First Aid certified. I had completed every single badge on this and other sites not just to increase my credibility but also to increase my knowledge to better care of your furry child.
When I board others peoples pets I like to send them pictures, messages or even videos of their pets every day to keep fur parents informed about their babies daily routine.
I don't live in a big house but I give dogs their out side time, I live 3 minute walk distance from the Sherman Oaks recreational Park and it is a huge green area for the pups to have a great outdoor walk and play time. Balboa Park is about 5 minute driving time and the White Oak Dog Park is about 6-7 minute driving time so there is no excuse to not exercise and socialize! :)
My place is always clean and my bed always welcomes another furry baby that needs to snuggle. I like to give my guests the must of my attention, including long walks, enough potty brakes, weekend dog park visit for socialization, home play time and lots of belly rubs.
I only travel to homes that welcome me with my dog... (what parent would like to leave her own child unattended to go to take care of someone else's child right?)
If I am staying at your place let me tell you that I have a clean background, i do not smoke or drink and if you still need to reassure yourself I am willing to provide you some personal references.
For your convenience I have a large amount of services that I offer: boarding care, pet sitting, potty/feeding visits, overnight care, medicine administration, special diets, dog baths, doggy taxi or transportation at very competitive prices.

Parents boarding their dogs at my place must fill up a form and bring copy of their dogs vaccination forms. Also if a dog comes in with fleas I am willing to provide a bath and flea treatment at the pet owners expense. Auntie Zen has the right to refuse any pet that doesn't comply with my regulations.
Dogs in Day care must bring same paperwork and fill up the liability form. Drop off must be after 7 AM and pick ups must be before 7 PM for any kind of service provided.
If your pet is under 2 years of age there would be a customized rate depending on your furry child's needs.

For new clients booking for up to a week would be receiving (1) day discount.
For new clients booking 2-6 days will get $10 discount.
For day care new clients will receive $5 on first day of Day Care.
I can only admit small and medium sized dogs. Sorry Jerry is afraid of big folks.
I hope this short profile information makes DogVacay parents comfortable to leave their furry babies with auntie Zenia :)

Have a pawntastic day!!!

Zenia lives in a fenced in apartment complex. Although her apartment is small, it does have a lot of space and is clean and well maintained. She has been a pet sitter on her own for the past 6 years and is excited to host dogs with Dogvacay.

Zenia was quick to respond to all of my correspondence through Dogvacay. She is very dedicated to taking good care of any pup that stay with her and her pup Jerry. Jerry is well mannered dog and gets along with well with dogs. Zenia will make sure your pup get quality walks everyday. She is Pet Certified in First Aid and CPR. Zenia is a great choice, I would send my Charlie to stay with her for his Vacay.

Zenia has been taking care of our doggie, Oscar for almost a year now. Oscar is a very difficult dog at times. He has separation anxiety, and is extremely territorial. It was very hard for us to find someone to take care of him when we went on trips before we met Zenia. Zenia has an acute understanding of animals, and their personalities. She understood Oscar from the moment we had our first meeting with him. She was patient, and took the time to work with Oscar. He loves her, and her dog, Jerry, and when we go out of town, Oscar goes to stay at Auntie Zenia's house. We have peace of mind knowing that Oscar is happy and well taken care of every time we leave him. He is our only child, and we love him like a real baby, so we trust Zenia fully. We don't use anyone else!
