About Simone

06 Years Experience Caring For Dogs
Hey fellow animal lovers!

I'm an experienced dog caretaker of 6 years and cat caretaker for 18 years who is able to facilitate enrichment exercises that assist in animals’ care, developmental growth and overall well-being.

I work effectively with families and animals to provide exceptional care, exercise and training for your best pal. I offer multilevel services including training (new or ongoing), socialization, and fitness consulting in order to meet the needs of the animal. I focus on each client through one-on-one bonding, enrichment, and developmental exercises. I specialize in differentiated doga instruction using Pranayama, Hatha, Ashtanga, Iyengar and Vinyasa Flow methodology.
Beyond dog sitting, I'm also a pet concierge = play-dates, pet shopping, and home/sick-check ins.

Can't wait to take care of your furry or not so furry friend!

Simone's compassion and love for animals makes her an ideal person for DogVacay. She has watched my family pet Pebbles on several occasions treating her as if she was her very own. Our Yorkie poo always enjoyed her time spent with Simone. Being a pet parent herself allows her to provide that extra special care and experience that all pet parents want for their extended pet family. Some of the exciting activities she's done with Pebbles have been beach days along with Simone's dog Maia allowing for a little socialization, long walks in park and a puppy training course which helped Pebbles learn some new tricks. I highly recommend Simone and so would little pebbles too.

Simone is dedicated to her pets and those of others. She connects with animals and makes them feel comfortable and loved even if they are not her own. Once, she and her friend found an abandoned cat who had just given birth. Rather than pity the animals and walk away, Simone brought the kittens into her home and spearheaded an effort to find them permanent homes (she debated adopting the kittens but was preparing to travel and knew they needed a stable home).

Simone should be strongly considered as a dog sitter because, she is very attentive to the needs of animals. To Simone a dog is more than an animal, but rather a sentient being deserving of love and nuturance. As her friend, I have watched her interact with her dog in a caring way. She would have various items for food, and skin protectants to ensure that her dog was always comfortable. On a personal level, Simone is a calm and loyal person whom you can feel safe leaving your animal with. In the past her friends would often ask Simone to pet sit for them. Simone was so well trusted that they would leave the dog for weeks at at time. Though, she has no kids of her own she treats animals as if they were her own.
