Welcome to Shirlington's doggie B&B!
Growing up in Denmark, I was surrounded by lots of dogs. My family was involved in training dogs, grooming dogs, as well as breeding Golden Retrievers (my mum introduced the breed to Denmark in the 1950s). We also had an English Mastiff and a Scottish Terrier... a doggie fest!
My love for animals led me to work for an animal welfare organization, the International Fund for Animal Welfare, for nearly a decade, where I was involved in the rescue of dogs and cats out of New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina, among many other projects.
Since moving to DC, I haven't had a dog and I miss that very much. I would love to help take care of your furry companion when you are in need of a dog sitter, walker or trainer.
Shirlington is well known for its many great trails, parks, dog-friendly community and amazing dog park on the river. In addition to hosting dogs, I am available to walk dogs after work hours.
I work 9-5 at an NGO in Arlington and I'm available most evenings, weekends, and holidays.
