Have you been looking for someone to watch your dog? You don't really want to use the teenage neighbor up the street, and your family isn't jumping up & down offering. I've been there! It's actually what started me down this road of Professional Dog Sitting. I am not a teenager, nor someone who does this to earn a side income. I take what I do seriously, and this is my only job. I offer a place in my home, with my family and my dogs, for your dog to stay. We keep the number of dogs that we host to a minimum of 3 guests per night, with 3 daycare guests mixed in during the day. I am independently insured (this is in addition to what Dogvacay offers), and both myself and my husband are American Red Cross Pet First Aid Certified. Your dog will have a TON of fun with a lot of care given to their safety.
All dogs must have up-to-date vaccinations in order to be a member of our pack. Owners must submit written proof of current vaccinations provided by their vet. Please plan ahead as your vet may be closed on the day of drop off.
All dogs must be clean and in good health, and must NOT have fleas. Owners will certify that their dog is in good health (no coughing, vomiting, diarrhea 48 hours prior to arrival here) and has not been ill with a communicable condition in the last 30 days.
Any guests found to have fleas (inspection is done shortly after drop off) will be charged a $25.00 penalty fee, in addition to the cost of the bath and dip which will be added to the boarding bill.
We do not accept aggressive or un-socialized dogs. To screen for this, your dog MUST COMPLETE a free trial day of daycare, prior to boarding, so that we can evaluate his/her temperament. Dogs that show signs of aggressive behavior or other traits that could put the other dogs or humans at risk will not be admitted. If this happens during the trial daycare day, we will call you. You can either come pick up your dog immediately, or we can keep him/her separated from the pack until you arrive.
