I absolutely love dogs! I always have. Why I don't have one of my own? The heartache of losing my dog unexpectedly when I was little has never left my heart. I go to my sister's house several times a week just to play with her dogs (a golden retriever and pit bull). I am their auntie Shannon and they go absolutely nuts when they hear my car pull in the driveway. Dogs are the biggest source of unconditional love God could have ever created. I have fostered several dogs in the past. I had a dog when I was a little girl and my parents dropped her off at the shelter while I was at school and I never saw April again. They never took the time, patience, and love to properly potty train her and were more concerned about their carpeting then our loving pup Then I lived in apartments for years and wasn't allowed dogs and figured I'd never own one. Every dog at my friend's and family's house runs to me, loves me, and gets a good solid five minutes of attention before I even say hi to the person whom I'm there to visit! lol I have fostered several dogs in the past and find great joy in that. I live in a safe neighborhood with a secure large yard with lots of trees for shade and squirrels and bunnies for chasing! Our day will include lots of love, cuddling, petting, many potty break opportunities, playing in the yard and a nice walk.
