9. Cassandra L.
About: Honestly, there are ALOT of great pet parents out there these days. How to set myself apart gets more and more difficult. I'd like to think I am great with understanding what an animal needs in terms of food, health, play, & overall care. I've learned some great tricks on how to train dogs properly to listen and obey simple commands such as sit, stay, lay down, leave it (drop), toys and treat names and even how to perform paw! It becomes a game for me to really see the dog thrive and it becomes a gift to myself that keeps on giving! The best skill I can offer is the attentiveness I can give to helping a dog learn and enjoy it's time in my home. The added benefit is being able to meet my own two dogs and have play friends! *A side note: I will also take several awesome, goofy photos and videos for you to enjoy! Much of my time is spent at home, especially when I am caring for other animals. I love to spend time with my pups and it's great to watch other pups playing in the yard with them - it's very exciting I think for all the doggos! I travel to see my newly born niece and siblings a couple times a year and spend most of my time on work and educating myself. I also like visiting RI's dog parks and bike paths when I find the time. Personally, I think it is really important to catch communication signals that an animal is trying to tell you. Things like, "Hey, where's my treat hooman?", Hey meat bag, I gotta go outside and pee or maybeeee just play?!@" or even the subtle "where's my attention!" and often times from my rescue, "ma, leave me be, I'm enjoying my nap!" I think paying attention and giving attention are two separate parts of pet ownership. I love being outside with my dogs allowing them to run in their circles and also give treats often, at least often enough to satisfy their cravings and my sanity. I also believe that safety of not only their play-space but also with their own personality and habits goes a long way. Pet ownership and care has a lot more to it than most know and I love being able to provide the love and care to not only my own animals but all the drooly, fluff-balls in the world!

19. Michelle C.
“Michelle has been taking the very best care of my 6 month old puppy. He absolutely loves being at her house and has made himself right at home there during the day. He has had unpredictable GI upsets recently and regular doggy daycare wasn't working for him because of that. I can go to work knowing that he is in the best hands and that the environment that she creates for him will help him stay healthy. So very grateful for her!”
20. Aly F.
“Alt was great with Luna. She really showed how much she cares for animals. She even taught Luna a trick we had not seen her do yet. Loved getting the pictures and even a video!”
