I have recently retired and have been involved in pet rescue most of my adult life. I have worked as a veterinary technician for more than 12 years and worked for the NC Veterinary Division of the Dept. of Agriculture, working directly with the State Veterinarian. I also evaluate pups at shelters, pull, transport and foster.
I have some experience with pups with separation anxiety, food aggression, resource guarding, and other issues as arise.
Our home is pet friendly and pets have full access. Our foster Australian Shepherd and our personal Aussie are restricted to the sun-room as she suffers from separation anxiety. I'm away from the house a max of 6 hours and not every day. We have crates, if needed, and baby gates and have a small play-yard. There are lots of toys and we spend many days out walking on the beach & swimming. The beach is very near our house. We also take nature walks on the trails nearby. Plenty of exercise for happy pups. Cuddles are also plentiful,
We look forward to being your pet's loving home away from home.
