Pet care experience
Hello! My name is Sam and I have been a member with Rover for over four years and love meeting all the new friendly animals and people! Other than my dog, Luna, I have two cats at home, Smokey and Bean. I am currently in graduate school, but have spare time during the week to help out. I am dedicated to my work and consider myself a reliable provider for care, so you can count on me to take care of your pet in any way necessary. I love all animals and have had many types of pets throughout my life, including dogs, cats, and reptiles. I look forward to meeting you and your fur babies!! I am currently only accepting drop-in visits, and few house sitting bookings, preferably for cats or dogs that need to be let out in a fenced yard, due to personal reasons. Thank you for understanding.

Samantha has been wonderful! She has been able to help us out last minute and made our first experience using Rover wonderful! Our puppy is tired after her visits and we receive the best pictures after her visits! It’s easier going to work knowing we have someone reliable to watch our puppy. We would definitely recommend using Samantha to anyone!
Samantha was the perfect fit for taking care of our cat, Mia, while we were away. We had never used Rover before so we were hesitant at first, but Samantha was amazing. Her updates and daily photos made us feel totally at ease, and assured us Mia was happy & healthy the whole time. We will definitely book again next time we plan to go out of town!

I have to crate my dog at home so I am familiar with it and am capable of crating your dog if necessary after visits. I am also familiar with a variety of harnesses and leashes as well as avoiding any “escape artists” out there, including cats. I make sure to give your pets plenty of attention and behave in a way that will make them feel safe and comfortable during visits.

A typical day
DOG CARE: I love running with dogs and playing games with them if they like to do so. I often take my dog to big fields and throw a ball with her and am happy to do the same with your pet. I also really enjoy walking along the greenway by Freedom Park because it is nice and shady and goes on for miles. CAT CARE: If you are looking for cat care, I love playing with cats and their toys as well! One of my cats is very young and loves to play all the time, so I am used to keeping him entertained constantly. Laser pointers, fishing rods, balls and mice, you name it. On the other hand, I have an elderly cat who just wants love and affection which I am happy to provide so they aren’t feeling lonely while you are away.

I work part time, so as my schedule allows, I can drop in in the morning, afternoon, and/or evening to care for your pet. Exact times can be discussed during booking requests.
