About Sally

15 Years Experience Caring For Dogs
Hello, my name is Sally and I am the owner of Sally Sits. I am thirty years old and I have a bachelors degree from Western Kentucky University. I have grown up with animals all of my life. I have had many pets such as dogs, a hamster, a Guinea Pig, chickens, a duck, mice, and a cat. I have also pet sat for many of my friends and family.

I like taking dogs for a walk to get them and myself some exercise and fresh air. I believe getting a dog out for a walk helps their physical and mental health. While on the walk I would work on the dogs leash and social behavior with other dogs and humans.

If I were to sit your animal I would work on tricks they already know and try to teach them new tricks to help expand their intelligence. I would also work on any issues your pet may have. I would show the animal affection and give them treats to let the pet know they are loved and safe. It also reinforces positive behavior.

I love animals and believe that they bring a positive presence to life. I also believe that they deserve the respect and loyalty they show us on a daily basis.

Please let me know before meeting you and your pet if there are any medical, dietary, or behavioral issues. I have in the past attended to dogs and cats post surgical needs, including tending to their wounds and administering their medication.

The only restriction I have is no snakes. As I am very afraid of them.

As the owner of Sally Sits I am looking forward to meeting you and your pet.

Sally was extremely helpful while my girlfriend and I were away on vacation for 2 weeks. It was the first time leaving our 2 dogs (aged 1.5 yrs and 11 yrs) for an extended period of time. Our younger dog has some specific needs that we outlined and Sally was patient and understanding and kept excellent care of the both of them. I would be happy to leave them in her hands anytime and would be more than happy to recommend her to anyone going away and looking for a fantastic dog sitter.

Sally looked after our young shuitzu whilst here in Canada & Gracie absolutely adores her. She was loving & kind, playing lots with her, walking her every day & giving lots of cuddles. Gracie is still pining for her & misses Sally. She was amazing.

Sally is terrific with my dog. She always makes sure my dog is properly fed and receives the attention my needy pup looks for everyday. She is also very athletic and would take my dog out for long bouts of excercise, actually helping my dog loose a few pounds this summer. Sally loves all animals and would be fantastic caring for yours.

Sally is the best sitter I found out of two apps and many interviews. She started at 4:30am and left at 1:am three Daze after being trapped in a one room house. The dogs received a lot of attention. So that's good in my book.
I have a 95 lb. rather energetic dog that is difficult to handle alone when going to the vet. Sally assisted me by riding along and helping out at the vets office while I filled out the paperwork and talked to the doctor. Sally was very pleasant during our time out and great at handling the dog. Next time I need help I will certainly give Sally a call !
