Pet care experience
Hi! Our names are Lauren and Jamey, we’re located in Wicker Park/Ukrainian Village and are both huge dog-lovers. We’re available for dog-sitting most weekends and weekdays and have a 9 year old English bulldog mix of our own named Bailey. We both grew up with dogs and have spent time dog sitting for friends and family as well. We are definitely homebodies and love to hang out on the couch watching TV with the pups. As dog owners ourselves, we understand how important it is for your dog to feel safe and secure in their environment. We can assure you that this will be the case during their stay with us. We make sure to provide plenty of love and affection, and treat all animals the same way we would want our own to be treated. You can rest easy knowing that your dog is having a safe and happy stay :).

We live in a three bedroom unit so there’s plenty of space for the dogs to spread out as they want to. We’re happy to accommodate any crate needs although our own dog does not have a crate.
Information Lauren W. would like to know about your pet
Before sitting your dog, we need to know that he or she is good around other dogs. Your dog will be around Bailey for the duration of their stay, so it's important that they get along. I prefer neutered and spayed dogs.
A typical day
We love taking our dog on long walks around the neighborhood and over on the 606 when the weather is nice! We also have the wicker park dog run several blocks away and can definitely take your dog there for playtime if that’s something you’re comfortable with. In general, you can expect us to spend as much time as possible with your dog. We love to spend our weekends at home with our own pup (and yours!)

Availability
We both work from home so can be very flexible with your dogs bathroom and exercise needs. We typically take our own pup out for a longer walk in the morning and evening and a shorter bathroom break midday, but can definitely cater to your dogs unique needs. We live in a great, walkable neighborhood that’s perfect for taking the dogs for a stroll.
