Hello, my name is Ryan. A little background information on me: I served 8 years in the military. I am going to school for veterinary medicine. I have about a year and a half of school left before I apply to veterinary school.
I am very comfortable working with pets. I have an extensive background in caring for dogs. I volunteered at the animal shelter every weekend and sometimes during the week for one year to walk and play with the dogs. It was a great experience taking the dogs out of their kennels and walking them outside to play fetch. I have a huge passion for animals. It was very sad to see the dogs stay in their small kennels all day with no one to play with them. I volunteered as much as I could to prevent the dogs from undergoing psychological issues from being kept in their kennel all day.
Additionally, I fostered 3 newborn kittens for 8 weeks so they can acclimate to being around people in hopes of being adopted.
My house is 1580 square feet in the Bartram Park region of Jacksonville. There is a lot of room in the house so the dog could run around.
I do ask that the dog is housebroken.
I would pay close attention to the signs the dog gives and let it do what it wants to with close supervision. I have both compassion and energy to give your dog the best service ever.
Your dog would really enjoy the company, attention, loving, and caring that I would provide it.
