About Ryan

5 Years Experience Caring For Dogs
Hello, my name is Ryan. A little background information on me: I served 8 years in the military. I am going to school for veterinary medicine. I have about a year and a half of school left before I apply to veterinary school.

I am very comfortable working with pets. I have an extensive background in caring for dogs. I volunteered at the animal shelter every weekend and sometimes during the week for one year to walk and play with the dogs. It was a great experience taking the dogs out of their kennels and walking them outside to play fetch. I have a huge passion for animals. It was very sad to see the dogs stay in their small kennels all day with no one to play with them. I volunteered as much as I could to prevent the dogs from undergoing psychological issues from being kept in their kennel all day.

Additionally, I fostered 3 newborn kittens for 8 weeks so they can acclimate to being around people in hopes of being adopted.

My house is 1580 square feet in the Bartram Park region of Jacksonville. There is a lot of room in the house so the dog could run around.

I do ask that the dog is housebroken.

I would pay close attention to the signs the dog gives and let it do what it wants to with close supervision. I have both compassion and energy to give your dog the best service ever.

Your dog would really enjoy the company, attention, loving, and caring that I would provide it.

I have a tendency to be overly critical and I have had some "not-so-great" experiences with pet sitters.
This was Absolutely Not the case with Ryan.
I was a little nervous leaving my senior pooch, Maggie, because her health has not been good as of late. Ryan was very concerned and took great responsibility to address all her needs. He snapped photos and sent me updates. And when I arrived to collect her she was happy to see me but I think she would have been happy to stay with him as well.
If you have the opportunity to ask Ryan to sit for you, take it. He is a great sitter.

Great experience. Ryan answered quickly and politely. He sent lots of pictures and my dogs seem to have a good time. I will definitely be using Ryan again in the future!
