About Pamela

20 Years Experience Caring For Dogs
If your pooch likes moderate activities and is a more laid back lap warmer, then you’ve found the perfect place!

Rumi's house is in Hillsboro off Brookwood Avenue / T.V. Highway. I’m Pamela and I have been a licensed groomer for 15 years and Rumi (Mr. Mini-Poodle) is my house mate. Though he's got a big bark, he's an even bigger baby who loves all my grooming buddies and their humans. He gives everyone the same “big ego” introduction: Ruff Ruff!

I'm a stay at home dog mom as well as being a happy home body. I have a home occupation permit and a small home-based grooming business in my garage which I very much enjoy. If your pup is a stinky doody then a bit of spa time is in order upon arrival! There is nothing better than a sweet smelling pooch, Rumi certainly agrees: Ruff Ruff!

Rumi's house has a good size fenced back yard for sniffing, sunshine, fresh air, potty breaks, and even chickens!!! Lady Bird and Lil Bit occupy the coop. The area has a lot of plant life with no grass, so if your big pooch needs a large open area to do sprints and zippies that won't work so well. Rumi's got a well-stocked toy basket and is always eager to share some tug-o-war. Dog walks are number one on the daily have-to’s and I enjoy harnessing up the pups for a trek in the hood (when it isn't pouring rain :-/).

Rumi's house is a calm, low-key, relaxed place to hang with lots of conversation, Loves and Scritches. If there are customers visiting here for their much anticipated spa day... it’s always a hi-light in Rumi’s dog day: Ruff Ruff!

I love all dogs, but seniors and special needs occupy a distinct place in our house and hearts. We look forward to playing with you! Ruff Ruff!

We have known Pamela for many years as a pet groomer and through that, a very good friend. She sat our little Bichon Lily many times and is the one person we trusted with her care. She had good, clean surroundings for pets and an overabundance of love to give. She has advised us on better, healthier food for Lily and would always let us know if she found any problems with Lily that we had missed, and always advised us on the best vet services for us to use. She would often bring her dogs over to our home for play days with Lily. I can't express strongly enough how important she has been to us as a groomer and more important, as a person who loves pets. We have moved to Idaho from Hillsboro and have never found a person to replace her, so we have traveled the many miles to continue having Pamela groom Lily and care for her when we were there for other business also, and were able to leave Lily with her with total confidence that when we returned, she would be well groomed and happy and healthy. We love her as does Lily, and you can't go wrong with her as a pet sitter.

I have known Pam for 17 years as a groomer but now also as a friend. She. Loves animals. Her voice is friendly with all animals I have seen her with. I. Am guessing I have seen her with 20 different dogs of all sizes.

Pam is very honest and. I trusted her with my passed and current dog. I recommend her to many people.

When you sign her up as a dog sitter I will recommend her for this as well. If I did not have family that takes my dog even when i am home I would use her.

Thank you for giving me this opportunity to share my information.
