I am a graduate of the University of Washington, recently evacuated from Peace Corps service in Guinea. I would love to get a dog of my own but I don't know where I will be next year. I would love to watch your dog while you are gone. About this sitter: I recently graduated from the University of Washington with a degree in Biology. I and have moved back to Eugene after having been evacuated from the Peace Corps in Guinea. I am currently working for a biotech start up downtown with a very flexible schedule. I also occasionally work from home so I have a lot of time to spend with your pets. I would love to get a dog of my own as soon as I get settled when I get back but in the meantime I would love to watch your dog(s) while you are gone. I also love animals of any shape and size and am happy to take care of cats, horses, pocket pets, or anyone else in your household. I have now been sitting with Rover for over three years and have loved all of the great dogs and people that I have met. I grew up volunteering at Greenhill Humane society as well as watching the pets of my friends and family. More recently I have been working at a vet clinic and spent several summers on a ranch taking care of a variety of animals of all sizes including horses, goats and cattle. I also had a dog of my own while in Guinea, unfortunately due to the circumstances of my leaving I wasn't able to bring her home with me. Why I love dog sitting I have been a dog lover my whole life. I have dog and house sat for many family friends and neighbors. I also spent several years volunteering at Greenhill Humane Society in Eugene, Oregon. In college I worked with a vet clinic in Seattle and was in charge of the dogs who there for boarding. I had my own dog during Peace Corps service in Guinea but unfortunately I had to leave her there when we were evacuated. My experience administering medication I am comfortable administering medication. I have experience working at a vet clinic and have a lot of experience giving all sorts of medications.
