My name is Melissa and it would make my day to care for your furry friend(s). I was an active Rover sitter for years before I rescued two pups of my own, but I still have room in my heart for more! I'd love to check in on your pals while you're at work, take them for walks around Berkeley, and do whatever they need to make them happy while you're away. I have experience with dogs of all ages, from puppies who can't go outside yet to elderly dogs who need a little extra patience.

Melissa was amazing! This was my first time using Rover, and Melissa was very patient and walked me through the process. While my dog was in her care, she updated me will wonderful pictures of my dog, and in each picture my dog looked so relaxed and happy! We were looking for a last-minute one-night dog sitter. We found Melissa and couldn't have been more impressed. She was responsive, communicative, and we were confident that our pup was in good hands. Would definitely seek her out for a future stay.
I have to say. I was very apprehensive only because I like to keep my pup on a stable rotation with the same people if possible when we go out of town. Our original plans happened to fall through, twice, and Melissa was quick to respond and took our little guy in. She was very accommodating and very flexible even when we got held up and our pick up time became later than agreed on. She is always present, meaning she is quick to respond to any messages. Straight forward and easy to communicate. My pup was happy and healthy when I picked him up and that's all that matters to me. Her calming demeanor helped him settle in faster than I expected. Her building was pleasant and the workers there were very friendly with myself and my dog. I will definitely book again.
Melissa was awesome! She watched my dog for a few days and she also sent me pictures of him periodically! Definitely recommending her :)

I work from home and have a very flexible schedule, so local walks and check-ins will be easy peasy. My own pups are very low maintenance, and I have more energy and love to give!
