My day job is graduate student, but I have been working as a professional dog walker and pet sitter for close to a decade! I've worked with everything from little Chihuahuas to gigantic Mastiff's and everything in between. The very first dog I walked was a puppy bulldog named Daisy who used to fall asleep (and snore!) during our walks. Since that first fateful snoring puppy, I've worked with aggressive dogs, timid dogs, wary dogs, old dogs, sick dogs, special needs dogs (all sorts of dogs) and love them all! I am patient, kind, and want the very best experience for your pet!
From 2013-2014 I worked for a première dog daycare and pet boutique outside of Washington DC (references available) where I supervised both large dog play groups and small dog play groups. This experience taught me how to encourage dogs to feel comfortable, especially if they are normally timid and also to curb bad behavior before it starts!
Taking care of your pet is a passion of mine and I want to make sure you feel 100% comfortable leaving your little guy in my care. Usually, I send a picture and update to the owner to let them know how their pet is doing during a walk or visit. I am always professional and will do whatever it takes to make your pet (and you!) as happy as possible!
