I am moving so I will not be taking anymore dogs for the time being. Thank you. I have watched many different breeds from tiny yorkies to feisty boxers. While a boxer may like to romp and run on Bartram's trail near my house, a delicate pup may prefer to cuddle up on a chair on my porch. I will enjoy taking your dog for a walk near my home, or playing fetch. Since I am home on the weekends and evenings, it is easy for me to meet the needs of your pup. I am a teacher, so I understand the importance of nurturing others--especially animals. I have administered medication to dogs with kidney problems as well as closely monitored a blind yorkie with a bad hip. I know these animals felt happy and safe in my care. My love of animals began with my cockatiel named Fester, who used to fly around my parent's house making an anticipatory screeching at the sound of my grade school bus's arrival outside our home. I also had the pleasure of walking my 100 lb. Akita/German Shepherd, Dakota, up and down the hills of Pittsburgh, PA. My neighbors used to comment on his auburn fur's beauty.
