When I first found Katherine on the interwebs I was looking for someone locally who would take care of my Shih-tzus from time-to-time that had recommendations from friends on facebook. My dogs...TWO of them... evil little hairy monsters that are picky, won't eat on a schedule and were not particularly friendly with other dogs. In short... I needed some help when I went out of town with someone who is trustworthy. Working with Katherine has drastically improved the relationship between myself and my dogs. Katherine quickly picked up on each dog's personality that helped me realize some of things I could change during the time she wasn't there. (Huge help!!!) I trust her to take care of my dogs at my home and she has always been very communicative. Katherine has been house sitting and watching our pets (dogs, cats, fish, guinea pigs, and briefly a snake) for over three years. Simply put, she is exceptional. We have a 9 year old German Shepherd - they usually bond with just one person, but Rocket loves her and responds to her they way he responds to my husband. When we have been away for a week's vacation, she updates us with photos of the pets and is proactive in asking questions if she has a concern over feeding, habitat issues, etc. (husband has a fish tank that is his baby - and she treated them as if they were her own). Katherine is reliable, honorable, loving, trustworthy and goes above and beyond - walking the dog(s), playing with the cats, talking to the fish, soothing the guinea pigs. I have never worried when Katherine is with our pets, and that peace of mind is priceless. We give Katherine our highest recommendation.
