About Rachel

2 Years Experience Caring For Dogs
I grew up on a horse farm full of animals. We had horses, dogs, cats, chickens, ducks, donkeys, and fish. I love animals with all my heart. I am very comfortable around them and I am used to caring for them. Currently, my husband and I have the sweetest 9 month old Australian Cattle Dog. She is full of energy and loves being outside so we take her to many different places all around Incline Village. We are starting up our own at-home small business so I have lots of time home with the animals. I can give close to all of my attention to your dog as needed. I am very willing to cater to you and your dog's needs so don't hesitate to ask!

Rachael K. Saved our holiday trip to Tahoe. She is so great with our little neurotic Maltese and was availble any time we needed her. She was super flexible and sweet and after one night our puppy RAN to her! She brought over possible treats for our picky dog and her husband Jake came too - for extra securit!! My family cannot say enough wonderful things about her and now the Hyatt has her number so be careful cuz she'll book up! We LOVE these guys and are gonna kidnap them to SF. You won't be disappointed with the couple of the year watching over your beloved family members - they are the best! Email me for more references :Kitc@comcast.net

I have known Rachel for a few years and we are recently married. When the two of us started hanging out, Rachel developed a bond with my dog Izzy, even before we took to each other. Izzy loved Rachel. The two of them really cared for each other from the first time they met. Rachel has a special ability to connect with animals, which I first noticed by the way Izzy adored her. She grew up on a horse farm, and has always had dogs, but even for someone with such a background full of animals, Rachel has a knack for seeing what an animal needs, weather attention, a scratch to an itchy spot, a walk outside, friendship or anything else. Rachel is a great owner to our new puppy named Pax. Like Izzy, Pax loves Rachel, and Rachel has an innate ability to see when something is bothering Pax, and help her out. Rachel is a great, caring owner, and can be a great dog-sitter.

Rachel is a natural with animals having been raised on a working horse farm including egg laying hens and barn cats. She trained cat "Timmy" to play red light-green light on command. She has lived with house pets-dogs-her entire life and is kind and responsible with the pets in her care.

Rachel is a lovely young woman and a true dog lover. She had cared for my two active Australian cattle dogs on many occasions and treats them like they were her own. She is reliable and dependable. Clearly loved by the dogs who are excited when she visits. She indulges their ball throwing obsession with great patience and really enjoys playing with them. My dogs and I highly recommend Rachel.

Rachel was vey nice and responded to my messages promptly. Her dog Pax and Timo got along great! We will definetly book with her again when we head out to ski.
Rachel really helped us out when we were in a pinch! Our friends had to cancel on us last minute and our hotel didn't take pets. It was NYE weekend and Rachel was still able to watch our dog on such short notice. Thanks for helping us have a great time by taking care of Toro.

Awesome experience - thank you!
Told us to take back our dog after a squabble with a dog they didn't tell us about. Small apartment.
I had never been away from Ajax for more than a few days, so I was very concerned about who would keep him for me. Rachel was outstanding! I received updates and pictures of their outings. She even took him to an appointment that I had made for him to receive hydrotherapy. Ajax was very content, loved his walks and being brushed. He was treated like one of their family. If I ever have to be gone again for any length of time, Rachel will be the first one I will contact about keeping Ajax.

Rachel was very nice and very considerate. She responses fast to my msgs and she also sent me text msgs and photos of my dog to let me know how everything was going, and she welcomes me to come over to visit my dog!
Rachel was great! We had our pup spending two days with her and her husband while we were skiing. She's very flexible with pick-up/drop-off times and also very responsive throughout the day. Rachel kept me posted on how Cheeba was doing with other dogs as she was watching other two dogs as well as her own pup. We'll definitely use Rachel's services again!
