I am an animal lover! I will treat each person's pet as I would treat my own, like a member of my family. I love cats and dogs and have had lots of experience with watching dogs/cats short-term for family and friends. I am very active, so any dogs that I care for will have access to someone who loves to run, hike, and walk. I live close-by to a local school that is attached to a park and a track where I could easily take dogs for multiple walks a day. Since I am very active, I would also enjoying taking dogs on hikes or runs nearby as well. The Columbia River Gorge is just a 20 to 30 minute car ride away, and I could do short or long hikes with dogs. If your dog needs lots of outside time or exercise, I am the person who can provide that. A typical day with me would involve at least two to three walks and lots of play time. I would try to spend the majority of each day/night I have your dog at home or with your dog. I work full-time Monday through Friday, but I have a somewhat flexible job so that I can come and go as I please relatively easily. I am also able to often work from home, if needed. Weekends are when I would have time go to on longer walks, runs, and hikes. While I have two cats, they are friendly and get along well with dogs and other cats (as long as the other animals are not aggressive). I am very kind and compassionate to all animals. You will never have to worry about leaving your pet with me!
