Hi there! ** I was a little MIA on Rover for the past 2 years due to a new job I had just started & then the Pandemic followed. But, I'm back and fully vaccinated! ** My name is Rachel, I live in Sherman Oaks/Van Nuys cusp. I have 2 cats of my own- a Scottish Fold named Tanky, and big ol' Tortie named Noni! We just lost our 3rd cat, Cathy, to lymphoma at age 7. I personally feel that cats aren't recognized on this site enough - so just know your cats are in good hands with me! I don’t only take care of cats and dogs though! I also regularly take care of client’s other animals - such as - chickens, bunnies, turtles, birds, lizards, fish, hamsters, etc. I strive to make sure every animal receives love and attention while you're away-whether it be at work or on vacation. I'm here to make sure they never feel alone. I travel a lot in my life, so I understand the importance of having a person you can trust take care of the baby you love the most when you're not there. It's a very big deal to me. I pride myself on not only respecting you, and your pet, but also your home & space. I will update consistently on what we're doing, if they've eaten, gone to the bathroom, etc. I’m well versed with giving medication to animals - specifically cats, rabbits, dogs, and chickens (such as oral liquid medication, oral pill medication, and injections ). I am comfortable with it all. I'll text you updates and adorable portrait pictures every day! *Seriously, I will almost always have a photoshoot with your animal - I can’t help it! BOARDING INFO: We live in a house with a fenced-in backyard and a pool. When I have animals boarding with me, I stay with them in my large guest house, I sleep and hang out with the animals entirely in the guest house. :) Your fur baby is more than welcome to sleep with me in the bed, or crate - if you'd prefer. CATS ARE WELCOME. If you would prefer your animal to be the only animal during the duration of the stay, that is perfectly fine by me. I care most about you, and your animal feeling the most comfortable.
