I am a fun active person. I have one dog, Dora, and she is a shiba inu 10 years old. My dog may be old, but still very active and healthy. I have been a dog walker/caregiver before, back in high school. I used to be animal CPR certified, I may not be certified now since I did not renew my certification, but I still have the knowledge and skill to perform CPR for small animals (dogs, cats, bunnies). I just recently graduated from the University of West Florida with my Bachelor of Science specialization in Exercise Science. My main goal is to become a physical therapist and to accomplish that it starts by saving money for DPT school and what better way to do that and have fun doing it than caring for animals. With my background in exercise science I know the importance of exercise not only for us, but for our animals as well.
I also know how to administer shots and oral medications to dogs and cats. I used to intern for 2 different animal clinics back in high school as a part of the Equine program I was in at Wellington High. I completed 360 hours of volunteering before graduating. In addition to those hours, I also volunteered at Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League. There I learned how to take care of dogs and cats post surgeries.
I may have shifted my focus from helping animals into helping people, but the love, care, and knowledge for these animals is still here. Your pets would totally have so much fun with me and they would be in great hands, especially those that need a lot of exercise. ; )
Our animals are like our kids and you do not just want anybody taking care of them. You want somebody who is going to show them the same love and care and commitment to them just like YOU do. It would be like you never left if you choose my services. I will treat your dog like Royalty...it is only right since this is Queen's Animal Services =)
