My name is Taylor, I have been an animal lover since birth. I grew up fostering animals while working in my local animal shelter. Three of my fosters turned into forever adoptions :) I have worked in several different pet daycare/boarding facilities which has given me the opportunity to work with a variety of different breeds, ages, and sizes. Additionally, I have learned a range of training techniques and have been able to practice them effectively.
My home is pet-friendly because it is kept tidy and includes a fenced in back yard for easy outdoor access. The backyard is accessible from both the upstairs and downstairs making it easy to accommodate elderly/disabled dogs who may not be able to do stairs.
I work part-time and typically very early mornings 4am-12pm and am able to travel home for a 1 hour lunch break around 9am. My partner and I work opposite schedules so the pets will rarely ever be left alone at my home. I am very active and enjoy being outdoors. I live very close to 2 different dog parks and Tilden Regional Park. For less adventurous dogs I live in a fairly quiet suburban neighborhood with plenty of opportunity for low-traffic sidewalk strolls. I also enjoy spending quiet time at home reading, drawing, and watching movies (perfect for the cuddly types).
I truly enjoy the company of animals and don't get to spend enough time with them due to my current occupation and living arrangements. I am happy to take the time to get to know your pet and customize my services accordingly. **I will do home visits for cats but cannot accept overnight visitors as my partner is allergic**
I look forward to meeting you and your pets!
