I am an animal lover. I currently live with a dog, cat, and an indoor cage free rabbit. And they are all best friends. I've spent the night and watched over an elderly dachsund that needed constant supervision and scheduled medication (so I can handle any similar situations). I always volunteer to watch my uncles Shitzu/Pikanese mix, my cousins toy poodles, and my aunt's pit mix. My extended family has always owned power breeds (pits, akitas, chows etc.) so I love working and spending time with high energy/power breeds. I enjoy the company of cats, and other furry little creatures as well.
My typical dog walk isn't very typical. I believe variety is important. Solo walks usually, maybe another dog or two occasionally (if they're compatible). We'll walk a few miles (distance will vary depending on time), unless your dog is small, old, has health problems etc. If so we can adjust accordingly. Parks, bike rides, hikes, and different locations, Frisbee, ball throwing, playing toys, and dog socializing (if the temperament of your dog is right) are all on the menu, depending on location. I'll also help train your dog if that's needed (e.g. walk training and teaching no pulling!). I believe your dog should be able to release all their pent up energy every day, so my goal is to make sure your dog is exhausted, and well socialized. Belly rubs, itching behind the ears, and hugs are on the house.
About me: I have been doing marketing and business development for a handful of years now, but find that I actually prefer spending my time with animals, and friends & family. I am comfortable spending the night with your pet, and want to make sure that any anxiety they have from being away from their families, is alleviated by healthy exercise and socialization. I'd prefer it's an exciting experience for them, almost like a trip to the spa. I am coming from the Southbay, but will consider traveling up to 18 miles, which pretty much covers the majority of the general Los Angeles neighborhood (I do kindly request that you keep traffic in mind when booking me for certain services e.g.) It wouldn't make sense for me to do 2 hours of rush hour driving for a $10 pick up/drop off). If you have any questions, please do contact me and i'd be happy to assist and answer any questions.
