"Would your classy pup want to stay in a luxxe Manhattan apartment when you're out of town?
Check out host Annie L." - Dogvacay
I graduated from UPenn in '02, and I have been living in Manhattan ever since. :) Growing up, I took care of my family's shih-tzu, Cheerio.
I love to take long walks and am very active. Most importantly, I love animals, and I promise to take care of yours, as if he/she were my own.
I also like to think of myself as a mini photo bug, so I will definitely be taking a ton of cute pics.
I am very diligent when it comes to the responsibility (feeding, medicine, even when it comes to wiping/washing paws, baths, grooming, training etc.) Amenities are all a part of his/her stay.
I try to customize the vacay based on the pup's needs, as well as keep the parents updated daily on activities via photos, videos, and emails.
It is important to me for the parents to know how the pup is doing (because I would want to know!). This includes a pre-stay checklist which details what to bring and expect from the stay.
I have experience in training, especially with handling puppies that have separation anxiety and recently took care of a 4 month old for 5 weeks.
If you have any special requests, I am also happy to oblige (I have taught tricks such as paw, sit, heel, and stay as well).
Conveniently located near Grand Central, I live in a pet-friendly/full-service building and am close to many parks, one of which is right across the street.
My apartment is spacious and very clean (shoes off when entering). I also wash all paws for every pup after walks. A clean dog is a happy dog (and a happy Annie!).
For those traveling, I am also en route to the airport (LGA/JFK) as well as close to the train station (Penn/Grand Central) and the bus station (Port Authority).
Note: I tend to book up a bit faster because I try to take in only one dog at a time (unless from the same owner), in which case I will mark "unavailable" on my calendar.
Of course, references are also available upon request. :)
