I moved from the DC area in April 2012 and have always grown up with dogs, so I would love to pet sit your pup! I'm always thatgirl at the beer gardens on Rainey Street playing with other people's dogs and opting to hang out with the pup instead of going for another drink.
I love going on walks with dogs, whether it's on Shoal Creek Trail, Barton Springs, Red Bud Isle, McKinney State Falls Park or Stacy Park. I'm always looking for new places to take pups, so if you know of one, I'd love to know.
I offer dogsitting at my house where I have a yard and a pup I share with my boyfriend. She's a lab mix named Moxie, and she is very sweet and playful and gets along great with other dogs! Additionally, I offer dogsitting at the guests' home (essentially, housesitting). I find that both the owners and dogs are often more comfortable doing this so that dogs have their familiar smells, toys, bed, etc. around them. But it's really whatever you prefer. For housesitting, I tend to stay close to where I live/work which is in the 78704 area but you can definitely always reach out and I can let you know if the distance to your place may work for me.
I work 10am-5pm at a PR firm but can often bring dogs with me to work, given that they are pretty well behaved and not too disruptive. Also, I tend to like to housesit close to my work so that if needed, I can go home during a lunch break and walk, feed, etc.
The photos in my profile are just some of the sweet pups I've dog sat before. I kind of get camera-happy with pups, so expect a lot of photos from me!
Let me know if you have any questions. I'd love to hang out with your pup.
