My boyfriend and I have been caring for dogs for over 18 years, we love small breeds as they can hang out with our rescue pups Willie and Jacob. Willie is a 5 old border terrier mutt. He gets along with all dogs and has a great personality, which he has put to use when we have fostered rescue dogs in the past. He’s a bit of a canine social worker. That lead us to our 2nd dog Jacob, who was a foster of ours and we had a foster failure because we adopted him. We give both of them about 3-4 walks a day: morning, dinner time and before bed. You can expect the same for each of your dog’s Vacay days!
Our apartment is a spacious 3 bedroom railroad style. We are right on the border of Ridgewood and Bushwick. So we are calling the area Bushwood. We are located a block and a half by both the L and M train off of Myrtle/Wycoff stop. There is a dog park and park about a 15 minute walk. If you board during the weekend and the weather is good we will definitely include a trip to the dog park.
We do work full time but try and take out our dogs 3-4 times a day. We also provide transportation to a vet in case of a pup-mergency.
We are animal lovers, but we have a special place for dogs in our hearts and believe that New York City is actually a very dog-friendly place. Your pet will be well cared for in a safe, stable environment. We look forward to meeting you and your best friend!
**Accommodate only small-medium sized breeds based on our dog**
