About Christina

35 Years Experience Caring For Dogs
The best feature is that I have an amazingly awesome backyard that is completely fenced in and has actual grass:) My yard also has a wonderful tree that pups love to take naps under. It has been described by pup parents as "Pup Paradise"
I work from home so your pup and I will have plenty of quality time together.
My apartment is a very spacious 1 bedroom so there is plenty of room inside as well.
I have over 35 years of pet and animal care -- worked with my Grandfather on out family farm taking care of many types of animals and as a vet assistant while at University.
I guarantee your pup will have an awesome vacation here at my home!

Christina was kind enough to take our reservation on short notice. She quickly responded to our reservation request, was accommodating to our schedule needs, sent us photo updates, and communicated well with us. Her apartment and yard (with lots of grass!) was great for our puppy. This was our first experience with DogVacay. We would definitely use DogVacay and book with Christina again. Christina is clearly an animal lover and made our puppy comfortable and happy.

Christina was an excellent and loving host for our dog Zoe. She has a beautiful backyard full of treats that we knew our dog loved. Christina dutifully sent videos and pictures everyday, from those we feel she was also enjoying the company of Zoe, they had a blast!

We would definitely recommend Christina to other dog owners. We felt very comfortable and confident leaving our dog with her, she genuinely loves dogs and has a great sense of humor.

Christina took terrific care of my girl, Addy. I was able to relax on my vacation and know Addy was in good hands.
Our pup had a grand time, made some new friends and was returned happy and healthy. Christina sent updates and pics while we were away and even accommodated our changing pick up time. We highly recommend her service.
Christina was a fantastic sitter for our pit bull-french bulldog mix dog, Turbo! She was very attentive to her needs and accommodations, and kept in touch with me while I was away on vacation.

Will definitely be using her services again--highly recommended her!

Christina Was great. Very accommodating and easy to work with. Talan did come back with a little bit of a stomach ache... And we found a highlighter chewed up in one of the cracks of his bed. Dogs will be dogs and it is hard to keep them out of everything. Christina is definitely a dog lover and will care for your dog like her own.

Christina was a wonderful host for my 50 lb. pit bull. She was very quick to respond to my questions and kept me updated while I was gone. Her backyard was a huge bonus and I can tell by how tired my pup is that he had a good time.

Would recommend.

Chris was absolutely terrific with my dog. She has her own lovely dog and they played incessantly. She's caring, and a great caretaker. Despite the wicked cold and snowy conditions, her yard enabled my dog to get physical activity, play and stimulation. She also did a great job keeping in touch by sending photos and updates throughout the week we were away.

What could I say! Christina knows dogs and loves them even more! Thanks again Christina
Great as always!
Christina is absolutely wonderful with our dogs! They were very happy and we'd highly recommend her. Thanks again!
I just returned from an eight day vacation during which I left my foster pit bull Loretta with Christina and I had an awesome experience! Loretta can be shy and she instantly connected with Christina and had a grand time hanging with her and taking advantage of her large yard. Christina was communicative, responsible and knowledgable but also has a flexible, laid back style that was very appreciated by this anxious pet owner and traveler. We will definitely be using Christina again and I highly recommend her.

Christina is amazing! Patient, loving, caring and conscientious. Wonderful experience!
Unfortunately, I can't recommend Christina. I think she means well, and she genuinely loves dogs, but my dog's profile - and my reservation email request - made it very clear that he needs to be housed without other dogs. I found out when I dropped him off that Christina lives with a dog (which is not disclosed on her page). At that point, it was nearly 9:00 pm on the night before an early flight, so I had no other choice but to leave my dog there. Then, when I picked him up, she mentioned that she also took in another dog for boarding! In addition, my dog was sick for 2 days after I picked him up. I'm not sure what she fed him, but it was definitely more than what I left for him (with very clear instructions). Her house is not a good option for my dog, but if you use her, just be aware that there will be other dogs in the house and give very explicit instructions about feeding.

We had a wonderful first Dog Vacay experience with Chris. She was warm and friendly when we first met and was responsive via text message while we were away. We picked up a tired, happy dog. Would definitely recommend!
Christina was great! I had never left my dog with someone he didn't already know before and was a little nervous, but Christina really alleviated my worries. My dog's tail was wagging like crazy as soon as he got into her house and it was still wagging when I picked him up. I'll definitely be taking him back to her the next time I go out of town!

Christina couldn't have been more pleasant and easygoing to communicate with - she responded to all queries promptly, and with enthusiasm ... and welcomed us over for a meet-and-greet prior to booking. My dog Dusty can be a bit anxious, but when she came home after nearly 2 weeks with Christina, she was as mellow as could be. Moreover, when it was realized that Dusty's collar and leash were missing from her bag when she came home, Christina went out of her way to come over and drop them off the following day without any fuss. I'm hopeful Dusty can stay with her again sometime. Thanks, Christina!

I liked Christina right away from my first interaction with her about our dog, Damian. She was so prompt and friendly with her reply, and told me to call her if I wanted to, which I did. She didn't mind a bit that it was pretty late at night and during while she was away on a trip. She even offered to come back early for a meet and greet, since her return was scheduled for only a few days before we left for Greece.

During the meet and greet, Damian liked Christina immediately (and he definitely doesn't like everyone), and we felt at ease leaving him for the 3 weeks we were away. We could tell that she was very experienced with dogs, and in particular with dogs of his size, breed and temperament. We were also happy that he would have a nice fenced-in yard to play in, with trees he could jump at.

During his stay, Christina sent us several videos and photos of our boy, which we were grateful for. It was a relief to see him happy and playing, and well-taken care of. When his food was low, Christina went to a pet store that carries his special food to get him more. She kept him active, happy and comfortable for his entire stay. We were thrilled to find such a caring sitter. Highly recommend Christina!

Darby loves Christina! I brought him back for the 3rd time within a few weeks and he was so excited when we got to her door. Aside from being able to be a wild man in her backyard, Darby was happy to play with other dogs, which is great because he's an only dogchild. If you have a Min Pin that is crazy like mine, Christina is the perfect sitter.

I think my baby boy had so much fun with Christina at her place. I left my Pitbull there for a week the first time leaving with a stranger. Christina is no stranger at all, she is a Pit Whisperer. She sent many photos to my cell phone to keep us update. By looking at those photos, my baby looked like he gotten alone with other dog very well. She told me that she never met a sweet loving Pit like mine, I’m sure my dog felt the same with Christina. Thanks a million for taking care of Jo.

I picked up a happy and healthy dog (he's usually too stressed out to eat, but not this time!). He celebrated his 7th birthday with cookies, played with another pup, and frolicked in the backyard. Even sounds like he got a little cuddle time in. Darby is looking forward to spending more time with Christina over the next few weeks.

So, where do I begin?! My family and I were going on vacation for 2 weeks and were in desperate need of a sitter for our 2yr old Amstaff Roxy. We set up a meet-n-greet with Christina and it was like love at first sight! Roxy absolutely looovvveedddd her and that was extremely comforting for us. We felt good leaving her for 2 weeks because we knew she'd be in excellent hands. Christina genuinely loves dogs, is super duper friendly and was so great about sending us updates and pictures while we were gone. We could tell Roxy had a fabulous time with her! If you're looking for a doggy sitter, I would most definitely recommend Christina - you won't regret it! We're looking forward to our next getaway! Thanks again Christina! :)
