As guests at Pup 'N Pals, you can be sure that your pet is receiving the utmost care as I am an experienced pet owner myself, currently caring for six rabbits and a horse of my own. I have owned rabbits and other pets for the past twelve years and have been passionate about animals of all types for as long as I can remember. I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Animal Science from the University of New Hampshire and have worked and volunteered at many places, allowing me the opportunity to not only care for small animals, but also dogs, cats and farm animals. I am a former volunteer of the MSPCA Nevins Farm and the Greater Derry Humane Society where I worked with dogs, cats, horses, goats and chickens and I have worked as an assistant barn manager at a local barn where I helped care for boarded horses. I currently am a member of both the International Boarding and Pet Services Association and the Dog Gurus Community, two associations that focus on safe and fun off-leash play for dogs. I have also worked as a pet sitter for A Pet’s Life for eight years and so am accustomed to caring for animals while owners are away.
Because I have been working with pets for over ten years, I am quite knowledgeable in many areas of animal care. I am comfortable with administering medicines and handling all kinds of animals including those with special needs. While here, dogs can exercise within the safe confines of a large, fenced- in yard, play on a fun agility course or go for walks at local parks. I even have a special outdoor enclosure so that rabbits and guinea pigs can enjoy some fresh air as well. My furry guests are kept in a quiet environment, complete with their own bedrooms to sleep in at night (we do not allow dogs in our bed), and are given plenty of love and attention while they are here so it’s as if they never left home. I hope you choose Pup 'N Pals for your next vacation and I look forward to meeting you and your pets!
