~NOT CURRENTLY ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS, SORRY.~
"One dog visitor at a time" is my motto, which allows me to give personalized attention to your pup. He/She will be part of the family while in my home.
Telecommuting allows me to be home during the work day, so your pup will get loads of attention. My small terrier-mix likes to stay active, so long walks and playtime are a must in this house.
Dog guests will get as much love and exercise as they want, and plenty of comfy space to nap.
My yard is large and fenced in, like my own personal dog park! If your dog enjoys socializing with more dogs, I also live near the Northgate and Downtown dog parks. On weekends, we sometimes do a hike at Duke Forest, Eno River, or another nearby trail. Or we hang out in my yard, play fetch, or just enjoy the sunshine.
While you are away, I will keep you updated on how your dog is doing and can email or text you photos of our adventures.
I have been caring for dogs for over 20 years and have worked for an animal advocacy group for 10 years. I have experience with all types of dogs from small and energetic to large and elderly.
I only accept one dog guest at a time, no exceptions. This helps ensure that your pup gets the attention they deserve.
If you have any questions please let me know. Special requests or needs can likely be accommodated; I can customize doggie care services and pricing as needed.
A few brief items to note:
-I am unable to accommodate dogs who are not yet fully house-trained.
-I keep my profile calendar as up to date as possible so feel free to check it out to see if your dates are available.
-the nightly fee covers roughly 24 hours each, if you need to lengthen that on either side of your reservation, we can arrange that for a small extra fee.
-New clients: Please plan to schedule a Meet and Greet before your reservation to be sure we are a good fit for each other (humans and dogs alike :)
- I do not provide doggie daycare in my home, my services focus on overnight boarding.
Thank you! I look forward to meeting you and your pup!
